- End-of-contract data extraction
- Dragon Copilot provides multiple mechanisms for organisations to extract their data. Organisations can export encounter‑related data (such as transcripts, audio, and notes) through continuous data export, which allows data to be sent directly to a Microsoft Fabric workspace selected by the customer. The export configuration supports transcripts, audio files, and documentation outputs. In addition, the solution supports open‑standard data export through the Dragon Data Exchange, allowing retrieval of encounter payloads (e.g., transcripts, structured data, AI‑generated outputs) using standardised API endpoints. Customer data can be provided as an Open Standard export upon request.
- End-of-contract process
- At contract end, the service can be deprovisioned using the Dragon Admin Center. When the product is decommissioned, user access is disabled, and the service and its associated data are placed into a deletion queue. Administrators have the option to restore or confirm deletion, ensuring secure and compliant end‑of‑service handling. Where applicable, data is retained or deleted in accordance with the platform’s data lifecycle and retention settings. Backup and recovery processes can support customers in retrieving data prior to deletion. During decommissioning, the organisation is also provided with agreed system data for transition purposes.

Microsoft's approach to security governance is multi-faceted and includes several key components: *Microsoft Power Platform: Microsoft Power Platform plays a crucial role in security and governance. It helps secure and govern apps like Power Automate and Power Apps. The platform allows administrators to create simple environment and tenant-wide Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies. It also provides tools like the Microsoft Power Platform Centre of Excellence (COE) toolkit. *Data Loss Prevention Policies: These policies are used to prevent data leakage and ensure data security. *Security Design Considerations: Microsoft provides best practices for security design considerations. *Governance Model: Microsoft provides guidance on defining the governance model between citizen developers and managed IT services, as well as between central IT and the business unit admins. *Monitoring: Microsoft provides tools for capturing compliance/auditing data and measuring adoption and usage within an organization. *App Governance in Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps: This provides visibility, remediation, and governance into how apps and their users access, use, and share sensitive data in Microsoft 365 and other cloud platforms.
