How the training service works
Coding Fury works alongside all levels of the organisation to transfer knowledge to them and enhance their skills in data science and Cloud computing via informal on-the-job training and mentoring. This may involve supporting data analysis or data visualisation through creating and understanding reports, dashboards, etc., assisting with the development of prototypes and providing guidance on requirements specification for the procurement of large-scale data transformation projects.

Training and mentoring are delivered by experienced industry professionals, highly skilled at communicating at all levels within organisations. Where appropriate, a Cloud-based Learning Management System will be used to aid delivery and provide training progress reviews.

Coding Fury demonstrates effective stewardship of the environment through the implementation of its Carbon Monitoring and Reduction Policy: The online learning portal reduces the necessity for face-to-face delivery of training (and associated travel). We promote working from home to reduce regular travel. Our main home office uses solar power, and the electricity usage is monitored by smart meters. As far as possible, we operate a paperless office and opt for online communications, invoicing etc. In order to influence and encourage team members to steward the environment, the team maintains a shared folder where we have built fairly elaborate financial models regarding the savings to be achieved for everything from installing solar power in the home to heat pump tumble driers and Battery Electric Vehicles.

Coding Fury offers the option of virtual training alongside trainees on the same course who are receiving face-to-face training. This helps improve the physical and mental well-being of the workforce at times when they would have found it hard to travel to attend a face-to-face course. For example, on numerous occasions, we've been happy to facilitate staff dialling into training when they've been "nearly better", i.e. unwell enough to spread a virus to their colleagues, but well enough to attend the training.
