Tackling economic inequalityTackling economic inequality
LanciaConsult is committed to and invested in our communities and the people within them. We engage closely with the communities that we operate in, recognising our responsibility to contribute towards them.
We recognise that as a management consultancy, our industry generally attracts employees and works with clients that are from higher socio-economic backgrounds, are generally university-educated and do not score highly on deprivation measures. We are breaking down these barriers and tackling economic inequality by working closely with local schools.
LanciaConsult co-run a social enterprise focused on introducing young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to the varied, exciting and rewarding careers that many simply don’t know exist. Our team host these young people, knowledge sharing and developing valuable skills in these students.
We work with local universities in the cities we operate in to provide mentoring and training to aspiring management consultants while coaching them on projects. We are proud of our engagement with these groups, particularly in supporting their projects that primarily involve social enterprises and charities.
We’re investing time in balancing our workforce with a focus on gender identity and ethnic balance, ensuring that people who are traditionally underrepresented in the consulting industry feel welcome at Lancia. We build diverse teams, promoting equity of opportunity and eliminating barriers, ensuring our team are always treated fairly, and everyone feels welcomed and respected.
We are proud to share an annual Social Impact report which provides more information on our range of projects and positive impacts. This is available on our website.
