Information security policies and processes
We operate an ISO 27001-aligned Information Security Management System (ISMS) covering people, process and technology.

We follow a controlled policy set including: Information Security General Requirements; Access Control/Identity & Authentication (least privilege, MFA, privileged access); Acceptable Use; Remote Working/Mobile Device/Endpoint Baseline; Email Policy and Secure Information Transfer; Asset Management and Classification/Handling; Data Retention and Secure Destruction/Hardware Disposal; Patch and Vulnerability Management; Configuration and Change Control; Logging and Monitoring; Security Incidents Policy/Incident Management; Supplier and Cloud Security (shared responsibility and due diligence); and Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery.

All documents are version controlled, approved, and reviewed at least annually and on material change.

Reporting structure:
- Directors hold overall accountability and approve risk acceptance.
- The ISMS Manager maintains the ISMS, evidence, internal audit programme and management reviews.
- The CTO is responsible for technical controls and leads incident response.
- System/process owners operate controls and maintain records.
- All staff/contractors must comply and report concerns promptly.

We ensure policies are followed through screening/induction and refresher training, policy acknowledgement, technical enforcement (MFA, encryption, endpoint baselines), monitoring and reviews (access reviews, user monitoring logs, change records, backup/restore tests, vulnerability/patch tracking, supplier reviews), and corrective actions tracked to closure.

Operational security

Configuration and change management standard
Supplier-defined controls
Configuration and change management approach
Changes to the service are overseen by the CTO, with all code changes reviewed by a senior developer. We use code quality tests and automated tests to determine the quality and security of code.
Vulnerability management type
Supplier-defined controls
Vulnerability management approach
We use a web application firewall for the early detection and prevention of vulnerabilities. Patches to the service are applied quickly and rolled out within minutes of creation. We keep track of CVEs relevant to our application stack to determine relevant threats.
Protective monitoring type
Supplier-defined controls
Protective monitoring approach
Potential compromises are monitored using CSPM software with automatic intrusion detection features. Data at rest is encrypted such that an individual breach of data stores does not result in immediate compromise. Upon learning of a compromise, we follow a process as defined by our ISMS which is available upon request.
Incident management type
Supplier-defined controls
Incident management approach
Users can report incidents using our standard support process, which will then trigger an internal investigation.
