Using our tried and tested methodology, Datalynx can analyse your data migration requirements and deliver the solution you need. We can manage the entire migration process from development of the initial strategy through to reconciliation of the migrated data sets.

Our approach begins with a pre-migration assessment where we undertake a high-level analysis of your source and target systems and identify the major challenges that the migration needs to address. From this we can produce and inform you of project cost estimates, a high-level project plan and identify the necessary project resources.

How the support service works
Levels and types of service support vary from customer to customer and are agreed during the scoping phase of every project.

We can utilise Talend, Confluent and Kafka; Cloud-Native components which are scalable and provide a cost-effective, fully managed service ready to deploy, operate, and scale. However, we are able to adapt to use any software to suit the customer preference.

For specific policing customers Datalynx has developed, and maintains, a Data Test Suite for SQL Server which emulates the target database. XML messages are loaded to the Data Test Suite and augmented with any reference code mappings.

Datalynx's sustainability strategy works to uphold SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production). As a supplier of services (rather than hardware or material goods), we have a relatively low carbon footprint and therefore focus on improving our resource efficiency and waste management. We work remotely to reduce commuting pollution as well as unused office space. We have a low waste policy to reduce printing and paper usage, and we securely recycle what we do use. We also recycle hardware where secure to do so, so that computer parts can be re-used and reduce the demand on natural resource and production.
