- How the planning service works
- Appetite have a considered approach to implementing robust Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint Managed Services solutions for our clients. We typically divide our projects into incremental approaches with four main stages Vision and Analysis, Scoping & Planning, Build & Implementation and Optimise. Vision and Analysis starts with a discovery phase which allows us to engage with your key stakeholders, understand the why and where the client wants to get to, which shapes the implementation. In the Scoping and Planning phase activities focus on the following identifying milestones and any task dependencies for the project. Potential project risks are identified, and all stakeholders and resources are identified and assigned and clients expectations agreed and prioritised. This phase typically includes (but not limited to) the following activities: -Projects definition and Requirements gathering -Cloud /technology /platform/migration readiness audit to identify any gaps prior to implementation -Solution overview -Microsoft Office 365 road map Security and Governance -Change management strategy - Promoting an iterative agile implementation where appropriate - Wire frames, mock-ups or proof of concepts -Implementation Plan -End Users: needs analysis, mapping user journeys/personas to create the user experience. Training and communications adoption plan. Identification of sponsors, early adopters or change champions.

- How the quality assurance and performance testing works
- Appetite has extensive planning, migration and end user engagement practices which are designed to ensure a proportionate response to quality assurance and performance. Our goal is to deliver “right first time”. Testing against all client requirements helps us to reduce UAT effort and rework. Through the scoping and planning phases, we ascertain the level and depth of quality assurance necessary and tailor our Quality Assurance efforts accordingly. During the project build phase, we focus solely on functional system testing of the solutions developed. Where required, we can also support client User acceptance testing needs by providing consultants to perform user acceptance testing management and test analysis in order to guide client teams in the most effective ways to UAT the solution. Each aspect of delivery can be documented and signed off in partnership with the client. We encourage a collaborative approach to project delivery and would require dedicated resources from the client for these stages : - Requirements gathering - Workshops - Requirement and phase sign off - UAT and quality testing Wherever appropriate we take an Agile approach to project delivery to ensure regular feedback loops on delivered functionality against customer requirement.
