Fighting climate change

At EF Education First, we are proud that our language, travel, cultural exchange and
academic programs create positive impact for people around the world. Whether it’s
by gaining knowledge, learning to communicate in a new language, or connecting
across cultures, we want everyone to have the chance to experience the world.
Climate change, however, threatens the world and all of us who call it home, so we
intend to do our part to help ensure a more sustainable future for generations to
come.
We are therefore excited to announce Hello Zero, our vision and commitment to
voluntarily offset all of our global carbon emissions. The first step in this ambitious
program is the EF Forest Initiative, a project to create and conserve forests around
the world. Our goal with Hello Zero is two-fold: to be carbon negative every year
starting in 2021, and to eventually become historically carbon neutral, removing all
of the carbon we have ever emitted, directly or indirectly in association with our
programs, since EF’s founding in 1965.

Leadership Live offers a course - Navigating a New Future: Leadership for Net Zero to help learners understand how they and their organisation's can assist with climate change. We also have curated playlists with various formats of content to support and educate.

Covid-19 recovery

Ashridge is part of the global EF family, and at a group and local level we do support several of the policy themes both in the UK and wider afield. Our work is ongoing around the contract and we can use this to demonstrate what we are doing in these areas. Leadership Live contains content to support Covid-19 recovery in the formats of video, learning model and research faculty insights.

Equal opportunity

Hult EF as an Equal Opportunity Employer understand the need for educating on DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging).

Leadership Live provides interactive certified courses, playlists, podcasts that will help learners achieve the following.

Understand the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion for workspaces
Be able to describe and analyze key issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion in one’s work environments and community
Grasp the power of diversity as a tool for creativity, and productive collaboration in the workspace
Have the opportunity to share elements of one’s culture with others
Learn that norms and practices one thinks are universal may be culturally dependent

Wellbeing

Our wellbeing policy here at Hult EF to establish, promote and maintain the mental health and wellbeing of all employees through workplace practices, and encourage employees to take responsibility for their own mental health and wellbeing.

Hult EF believes that the mental health and wellbeing of our employees is key to organisational success and sustainability.

Leadership Live also provides content on wellbeing, stress, kindness and emotional intelligence in different formats such as video's, faculty insights, podcasts, infographics and mindfulness exercises.
