How the planning service works
Our planning support covers the full length of implementation from gathering requirements through to post implementation support and improvement. Our planning approach includes development of a high level delivery roadmap based on current technical maturity, infrastructure, business needs and user requirements.
Dependant on the type of roll out and implementation, we would support the organisation to develop detailed delivery plans for implementation or formalise agile planning and delivery structures to oversee the iterative planning process. How the setup or migration service works
Our setup and migration service supports the client to move to, or move between cloud based solutions. Our approach centres on ensuring the development of scope, definition, objectives and requirements is undertaken at the outset. This is complimented by building an understanding of the user needs.
Once completed, an analysis of the various cloud service models is assessed and works alongside the development of a target operating model for the organisation.
As we move through to delivery, an emphasis on ensuring continuation of service, consistency of approach and well structured governance and assurance to manage risk as the service moves to a new cloud based solution. The activities in the setup and migration process could include:
Service design, process definition and improvement.
Define the testing, QA, audit, approvals and contingency.
Supplier engagement, sourcing, contracting and onboarding.
Migration planning and oversight.
Change management including baseline assessments, readiness assessments and the necessary support, communications and ups killing to compliment the set up or migration.

Our support for quality assurance and performance testing encompasses the range of elements included in implementation.

Functional and compatibility testing - here we are looking to assess whether the solution meets the needs of the organisation, is compatible with what the organisational infrastructure and aligns with the longer term digital strategy.

Performance testing - testing the performance and security of the solution through a range of load testing, access testing, stress testing and integrity testing.

Usability and deployment - undertaking testing to ensure that it is able through usability testing and assessing whether the documentation, reports and handbooks are sufficient to support adoption.

As an organisation we are committed to reducing our impact on the environment and working with our staff, suppliers, customers and partners to embed this in our work.

Our organisational model is built around effectively utilising technology to minimise travel, with hybrid working and working from home as the default model. Where travel is nescessary we utilise public transport or low carbon travel options.

We utilise recycled and refurbished technology through reputable and credible suppliers to minimise the impact of our technology and actively discourage paper products (unless required for accessibility) to minimise the waste from our work.

Tackling economic inequality

Tackling economic inequality is central to our corporate mission. Our work with entrepreneurs and small and medium sized enterprises is focussed on creating business communities that are resilient, learn from each other and are able to scale.

As an organisation we provide coaching and mentoring both 1:1 and in groups to small businesses to build reflective practices, whilst bringing organisations together to explore opportunities to grow together.

We also provide more specialist support to individuals from deprived backgrounds, working with charities and not for profit organisations to support both their staff and the users in building core skills that are necessary in a modern workplace.
