The N-able API provides a set of tools and functionalities to interact with the N-Central platform programmatically. This API allows developers to create connections, perform queries, update values, and manage customers and devices within the N-Central environment.
Key Features
API Version 2: The N-able API version 2 includes documentation and scripting examples for creating connections, performing queries, updating values, and adding customers with native web proxy services. It also supports the PS-Ncentral PowerShell module by Tosch.
Custom Device Properties: The API allows retrieving custom device properties for all devices using scripts like GetCDPFromAPI.
Customer Management: Scripts such as GetCustomerListwithSites-Prompted.ps1 can be used to output the customer list, making it easier to manage customer information.
Device Information: The API provides scripts like GetDeviceInfor-Prompted.ps1 to read Windows Agent configuration for the appliance ID and the FQDN of the N-Central server. It prompts the user for credentials and queries the N-Central server for device information.
