- How the planning service works
-
Contiem/Mekon works with clients to structure their requirements for implementing a structured content solution for authoring documentation. From these requirements we are then able to advise clients on how best to build an information model, convert their content and develop stylesheet plugins to publish their content to a range of output formats including PDF and HTML.
We also help clients select and implement appropriate Content Management Systems (CCMS) to improve the efficiency and delivery of their authoring and publishing process. Such solutions can either be cloud-based or on premise. - Planning service works with specific services

- How the setup or migration service works
- Contiem/Mekon has worked with a range of clients, including many who are looking to migrate to a new CCMS environment. For these clients, the approach Contiem/Mekon take is to build an Information Model that is representative of their existing structured content. This is then used in tandem with a clear analysis and representative test sample of the clients existing content to create a mapping between existing content and migrated content. Appropriate conversion tools are developed, tested and implemented with the client to allow the existing content to be fully and successfully migrated with minimum effort into the chosen new cloud-based CCMS environment.

These systems and the software tools and solutions they integrate to can be based either on premise or in the cloud. Mekon has over 25 years of experience supporting clients in the use, implementation and configuration of such systems.
