Availability and resilience
- Guaranteed availability
- GoodMaps provides a 99.5% guaranteed uptime of service availability across its platform, covering both Customers and End Users/Consumers of our technology. Currently this relates to GoodMaps Studio and GoodMaps Explore.
- Approach to resilience
- GoodMaps technology platform is deployed as a SAAS model across both AWS and Azure, we utilise a geographically distributed model ensuring availability and uptime. For Customers with geographic security concerns, where viable, we can provide additional territory specified/isolated distribution. For all “none-specified” Customers, we follow industry standard data resilience and distribution availability processes.
- Outage reporting
-
Customers can be notified by e-mail automatically or subscribe to our other in-house notification channels. Downtime maybe isolated meaning that it is a single map or wider SAAS/cloud infrastructure disruption. GoodMaps works closely with its cloud partners to ensure high uptime and availability following industry practice and processes.
End Users would be alerted to a partial systems unavailability within the iOS/Android app environment, however, they would have less defining granular access to define the specific difficulty. This is a matter of security and there can be a variety of reasons an individual End User may be experiencing challenges accessing a single isolated map.

Tackling economic inequality
Through supporting the hybrid working environment and multi-purpose diverse Commercial Real Estate model; GoodMaps empowers owners and lease holders of venues to effectively make their spaces use agnostic. When a venue offers virtual and software BIM features to enhance the physical structure and those to whom use it, equality is achieved for all user demographics. - Equal opportunity
-
Equal opportunity
For decades various groups of society have been obstructed from gaining fair and equal access to locations; this prejudices their ability to economically contribute, access education, healthcare and retail, along with so very much more. Through the provision of step-free routing, Universal Access principals and other inclusion functionality, GoodMaps is able to support a wide range of individuals from across the ability spectrum. The platform is fully accessible and lends itself to organisations Equality Diversity and inclusion agenda programs.
