Atos Managed Cloud Azure accomplishes hosting by establishing and managing a robust landing zone framework through code and deploying Azure services on top of it as per customer’s application architecture and requirements. This framework incorporates guardrails and operational structures designed to address the scalability, security, governance, networking, and identity requirements. The overarching goal is to alleviate challenges while optimising the cloud's benefits
Managed Landing Zone and Azure Services enables the provisioning of landing zones and other application components through IaC and automated workflows in a DevOps framework, ensuring rapid and consistent deployment. This accelerates time-to-value for business units, allowing them to focus on their core activities.
Managed Azure encompasses the skillful administration and control of cloud infrastructure, with a focus on achieving ideal configurations, enhanced security, and long-term operational effectiveness. Hosting of Azure components includes compute resources (like virtual machines, Kubernetes/containers, Azure functions), Network services (Hub/spoke, VPN, Express route).
Service scope
- Service constraints
-
As such there is no constraint from the service standpoint. Atos may not have complete control over the entire customer's Azure estate, Managed Landing Zone adopts a shared responsibility model. Due diligence is required to establish the clear definitions of responsibilities, demarcation points, requirements, and dependencies.
Role-based access controls, policy assignments, and resource locks are used to safeguard Atos-deployed resources, and the governance wrapper is dynamically applied to customer-deployed resources through deploy-if-not-exist (DINE) policies.
