- How the planning service works
-
Coding Fury will review the data strategy and Continuing Professional Development targets, audit the skills and technologies in use in the organisation, and produce a roadmap or action plan.
This roadmap or action plan will be used to guide the building of a training programme from modules on the relevant technologies and at the appropriate skill levels (introductory, intermediate and advanced).
Course Modules can be tailored for specific roles: consumers, commissioners or creators.
CONSUMERS need to know how to find, read and interpret visualised data. These users exist at all levels of an organisation.
COMMISSIONERS need to: (1) Be able to identify data that could be processed to gain actionable insight for their organisation (2) Understand the strengths and capabilities of various technologies. (3) Understand what emerging technologies such as Machine Learning and AI are, and when they are an appropriate choice. (4) Know how to spec, commission and manage a data science project. (5) Understand how solutions can be scaled and deployed to the cloud.
CREATORS need to know how to design, architect, create solutions for running locally, or to scale for cloud deployment.
Modules may be customised to use data examples that are appropriate to the organisation. - Planning service works with specific services

Fighting climate change
Coding Fury demonstrates effective stewardship of the environment through the implementation of its Carbon Monitoring and Reduction Policy:
The online learning portal reduces the necessity for face-to-face delivery of training (and associated travel).
We promote working from home to reduce regular travel.
Our main home office uses solar power, and the electricity usage is monitored by smart meters.
As far as possible, we operate a paperless office and opt for online communications, invoicing etc.
In order to influence and encourage team members to steward the environment, the team maintains a shared folder where we have built fairly elaborate financial models regarding the savings to be achieved for everything from installing solar power in the home to heat pump tumble driers and Battery Electric Vehicles.Wellbeing
Coding Fury offers the option of virtual training alongside trainees on the same course who are receiving face-to-face training. This helps improve the physical and mental well-being of the workforce at times when they would have found it hard to travel to attend a face-to-face course.
For example, on numerous occasions, we've been happy to facilitate staff dialling into training when they've been "nearly better", i.e. unwell enough to spread a virus to their colleagues, but well enough to attend the training.
