End-of-contract data extraction
At the end of contract, the customer has a 'grace period' of 30 day in which they can request a full export of data generated during the term of the contract. Work undertaken by Starling to achieve this may be chargeable at the noted day rates.
End-of-contract process
At end of contract, the customer has a number of options:
- Reprocurement of Starling licences to ensure continuation of service (at additional cost). This option is subject to the customer's procurement rules.
- Retention of hardware (if any) without continuing payment of cloud licence. This will enable the customer to utilise reduced sensing functionality (independent of Starling) without further cost
- Customer removal of any hardware components (no further costs)

There are two parts of the service interface:
- Starling Portal is the command centre for Intelligence, where engineers have the ability to completely configure
- Starling Dashboard displays information coming from the city simply and effectively, so that users can quickly understand city data and metrics in real time
