Planning service
How the planning service works
Planning is a key part of our service. We work with customers to assess their needs, develop the best options, which is not always full Cloud straight away, and to plan the project from start to finish, ensuring that they and their staff are involved at all stages.

We support customers in the implementation of change management and monitoring to ensure the systems are achieving their stated aims and objectives and to improve performance. We also help by undertaking full evaluations of new services or schemes.

Training service provided
How the training service works
Training is provided through ongoing knowledge transfer and mentoring as well formal training sessions. We determine the training required through training needs analysis and develop materials to assist staff at all levels. We understand that often training needs continue beyond the initial project and offer that with assurance/ critical friend arrangements.

Fighting climate change

Fighting climate change

In-Form Solutions are committed to securing environmental benefits within the work that we carry out and in our day to day activities in order to fight climate change.

Within the contracts we carry out through GCloud we will work closely with Buyers to plan and develop services and solutions that have a low impact on the environment (for example discussing low carbon options, working with suppliers with carbon neutral commitments.)

Internally we source locally where possible to reduce transport and we have a commitment to prioritise goods using recycled materials.

We follow reduce – reuse – recycle at all times to reduce waste throughout our business.

We also encourage the use of public transport, cycling and walking when undertaking contracts.
Covid-19 recovery

Covid-19 recovery

In-Form Solutions are aware of the devastating impact of Covid-19 on our local community and we are committed to supporting it and those areas that we work in, including through GCloud contracts.

We encourage our staff to volunteer and to use their skills to support those affected by Covid-19 and this has included working on Covid wards during the pandemic, mutual aid and charitable donations.

We regularly partner with other SMEs, including in the areas we work in, helping to give back to economies damaged by the pandemic.

We have taken time to ensure that our workplace is safe for staff and we reassess this on a regular basis. We offer flexibility to staff, enabling them to work remotely if this is preferable or they are vulnerable. We also maintain a number of communications channels so that anyone working remotely is included in social activities.
Tackling economic inequality

Tackling economic inequality

In-Form Solutions values the communities that we work in and we seek to do everything we can, as a small SME, to tackle economic inequality, including through the contracts that we undertake.

We regularly partner with other SMEs and VCSEs in the areas that we work in, ensuring that the contracts support the local economy. For example, we support business entrepreneurs in setting up and establishing their business and mentor students as part of the "Be Inspired" programme managed by Staffordshire University.

As an organisation we pay at least the real living wage and do not engage under zero hours contracts.
Equal opportunity

Equal opportunity

In-Form Solutions is committed to equal opportunities within our organisation and through the work we undertake, including contracts through GCloud.

We have a wide-ranging Equal Opportunities and Diversity Policy, which all staff are provided training in. Our recruitment processes align with this and we also require our suppliers to meet the same standards.

We ensure that our office is accessible and provide support to any staff member, supplier or visitor that requires it. Needs are assessed on an individual basis.

We monitor recruitment statistics anonymously to ensure that our adverts attract a diverse range of applicants and if an anomaly is highlighted we take action to rectify it.

We work with Buyers to ensure that the contracts we work on support diversity, including sourcing additional resources from deprived areas.

In-Form Solutions is committed to doing whatever we can to protect and enhance the wellbeing of our staff, our Buyers’ staff and the suppliers we work with. We encourage this through:

• A flexible working policy to enable staff to work in a way which protects their wellbeing.
• Awareness of mental health issues and providing a supportive environment for anyone to raise an issue or seek help
• Ensuring that employees maintain a health work-life balance to protect mental health
• Encouraging participation in activities such as volunteering, physical or mental exercise, including as a group.
