- End-of-contract data extraction
-
When the contract with Sundown Solutions concludes, users retain full control over their data since it resides in their own tenant. Although the license for version control is owned by Sundown, the data generated and managed using the Power Platform Version Manager is the property of the user.
Before the contract ends, we recommend users to perform a comprehensive data export. This can be done using Microsoft's native export tools or other third-party tools. The exported data can then be stored securely for future use.
It's important to note that after the contract termination, the version control functionality provided by the Power Platform Version Manager will no longer be accessible. However, all the data and information within the user's Power Apps environment will remain intact.
In case of any assistance needed during this data extraction process, Sundown Solutions is committed to providing necessary support to ensure a smooth transition. We believe in maintaining transparent and customer-friendly practices, prioritising our clients' data sovereignty and control. - End-of-contract process
-
At the end of the contract with Sundown Solutions, users maintain full ownership and control of their data as it is stored in their own tenant. Despite the version control license being owned by Sundown, the data managed using the Power Platform Version Manager remains the user's property. We recommend users to export their data using Microsoft's native tools or approved third-party tools before the contract ends. While the version control functionality will cease, all data within the user's Power Apps environment remains accessible. Sundown is committed to assisting users during this transition, ensuring a smooth and efficient data extraction process.
The contract price includes the license for the Power Platform Version Manager, access to all its features, such as comprehensive versioning controls and integration with Azure DevOps, and ongoing customer support. It also covers training costs, both onsite and online, along with the provision of detailed user documentation.
Additional costs would be incurred for any bespoke modifications or add-on features requested beyond the standard offering of the Power Platform Version Manager. Also, any third-party tools used for data export at the end of the contract would be an additional cost borne by the user.

Sundown Solutions prioritises information security, adhering to rigorous policies and best practices, including ISO 27001 standards. Our process begins with a comprehensive risk assessment to identify potential vulnerabilities, enabling us to implement robust security controls such as firewalls, encryption, and access controls.
Security activities are overseen by a dedicated Information Security Officer (CEO) who works directly to senior management, ensuring all security issues are addressed promptly. Regular audits are conducted to ensure policy adherence, and staff receive continuous training on the latest security practices.
In case of a security breach, our robust incident response plan is activated, which includes reporting the incident, assessing its impact, implementing corrective actions, and informing relevant parties.
At Sundown Solutions, we view information security as a shared responsibility and are committed to the highest level of data protection for our clients.
