Tackling economic inequality
We don't have a policy on this other than we are totally transparent to all staff on what we earn, what we pay and what we get paid by clients.Wellbeing
The Cogworx business model relies on a happy and healthy workforce. It has always been our focus to ensure the people who choose to work with us feel supported and that working for Cogworx is a good decision for their physical and mental health. Since COVID-19, the most common issue is not having a sense of team leading to a sense of isolation for staff and team members.
Regular team (both staff and client) get-togethers are offered to all team members that include days away from projects to take part in activities such as paddleboarding, kayaking, museum visits, lunches, summer BBQs and drinks.
Cogworx’s Directors are directly involved with our contracts and projects, and have relationships with our workforce. We make ourselves available to anyone who needs a chat or is looking for support with a professional or even personal issue. If there is stress or anxiety being caused by an aspect of the project, we will do what we can to remove this immediately - stepping in ourselves if needed.
COVID-19 has increased the prevalence of flexible working hours and Cogworx is no exception. Where it has minimal impact on the wider service team, we offer associates the option to adapt their working hours to perhaps accommodate activities (gym, family time etc.) that will help both their physical and mental health.
