- How the planning service works

The goal of the planning phase is to ensure a good establishment of the project with the client and Xledger and shall ensure the definition and ownership of all parties involved. This is a critical success factor for project implementation and is done through the project establishing plans that are reviewed and approved by the client.
In the analysis and design phase, assessment and analysis of existing systems and solutions of the customer’s existing solution, including analysis and mapping of e.g. accounting dimensions, authentication routines, workflows, integrations and data migration is undertaken. The analysis is carried out through a series of meetings in working groups that focus on various topics such as accounting, finance, billing, project, payroll, and technical integrations. The meetings will cover the necessary training in-system to inform design decisions required.
A detailed specification for the delivery shall be prepared which shall include:
a) System Analysis to inform configuration requirements’
b) System Processes that will be configured as part of the implementation
c) Design and specification of interfaces and any technical architecture guidelines for the parts of the delivery to be developed and those parts of the delivery which the parties find necessary to specify. - Planning service works with specific services

During the implementation stage, Project Teams undergo training, with designated 'Super Users' within a company serving as primary support contacts with Xledger.
The implementation team gains access to Xledger's E-Learning System, 'Equip,' for training, with users granted access from "Project Kick-Off" to "Project Close," and additional licenses available upon request. Equip offers training on core Xledger functionalities, complemented by consultancy focusing on these areas. All training utilises Xledger's standard environment and materials, fostering independence among the client's implementation team through a "train-the-trainer" approach. Representatives are expected to complete the training, with additional consultant time available for collaborative courses and bespoke training upon request for an extra fee. - Training is tied to specific services

An implementation of Xledger includes deliveries in five areas:
▪ Configuration
▪ Data migration
▪ Integrations
▪ Training
▪ Advisory Services
In addition, there may be a need for general consulting services that do not naturally fall within the scope of the project. This can be done, for example by process improvements and change management.
Configuration and setup are the core delivery of all Xledger implementations, and includes the establishment of system structure, setup and parameter setting. Configuration can be divided into five main areas:Xledger can assist with data migration to any required level. The level of involvement in data migration can vary according to the customer's needs.
To ensure the efficient optimum configuration, Xledger has developed its own tool that contains a number of questions and tasks related to configuration in the phases of Analysis, Design, Implementation and Test and Verification.
Where required Xledger will work with customers to understand the work and effort involved in any migration. This process starts with a Migration workshop to identify the requirements and allows Xledger to define the scope and necessary work.
We offer basic assistance and practical guidance for mapping and migrating data, from opening balances to full transaction history. - Setup or migration service is for specific cloud services

- How the quality assurance and performance testing works
-
Quality Assurance and performance testing are incorporated into the Xledger Implementation programme from the outset. This ensures that testing activities are systematically carried out throughout the implementation lifecycle.
Testing in Xledger follows a structured and process-oriented approach. This involves defining clear testing objectives, creating test plans, executing test cases, and analysing results systematically.
Xledger aims for comprehensive test coverage, encompassing various aspects such as functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, and performance testing. This ensures that all critical functionalities and components are thoroughly tested.
Performance testing in Xledger focuses on evaluating the system's responsiveness, scalability, and stability under different conditions. This includes testing the system's ability to handle varying user loads, process transactions efficiently, and maintain optimal performance levels.
