Yes
How the planning service works
Our consultants work in accordance with Oracle's best practise for cloud deployments, using a mixture of Oracle methodologies and their agile skillsets to help clients plan for the future security, reliability, and performance of their organisation. We work in line with the Government Digital Service (GDS) Discovery process to understand clients’ business needs, formulating a Design, Implementation, and Rollout plan. Training

Training service provided
Yes
How the training service works
We utilise a suite of generic training material as a foundation, tailoring our approach to suit the specific requirements outlined by each individual client. As each deployment is unique, our consultants work with each client to understand their training needs based on a variety of personas. These range from technical staff, who will be involved in the implementation or the support of the cloud service, through to various different business user personas.
The training we offer comes in a variety of mediums, ranging from Knowledge Transfer (KT) through to classroom-based training. KT is typically driven by the deployment’s lead consultant and can include one-on-one mentoring as well as sharing best practice. In addition to this, we offer formal training predominantly focused on the end-user experience.
In terms of training for the services we provide, Time Sourcing can cover the full spectrum of Oracle’s suite of products – including HCM, ERP, SCM and EPM.

Setup and migration

Setup or migration service available
Yes
How the setup or migration service works
Time Sourcing follow the standard GDS Design Manual’s best practice “Prepare to Migrate” methodology. This includes auditing the service, considering timings and budgets, and reviewing the skills available in-house to support migration, in addition to those across the client’s supply chain (including the services being provided by Time Sourcing). We also consider your department’s cloud hosting strategy and assess your security needs.
Through understanding this current infrastructure, as well as the client’s current and evolving needs, we can provide better advice on where to host services, provide better-informed ongoing support with data migration, and ultimately establish a beneficial service.

Fighting climate change

We are committed to ensuring the earth is habitable for future generations, and, as such, take a multi-pronged approach to fighting climate change.
We have recently reduced our Scope One emissions by encouraging staff to work from home and, to minimise our carbon footprint, we host client meetings virtually whenever possible. However, when staff do need to travel on business, we arrange for them to travel via public transport if feasible, contributing to a drastic recent reduction in our Scope Three emissions. Moreover, over the last few years, we have upgraded all of our staff laptops to Energy Star rated devices, thereby reducing our Scope Two emissions.
Time Sourcing are currently progressing toward a Net Zero status by 2035. Furthermore, for any G-Cloud contract we enter into, we commit to engaging in a carbon offset scheme, agreed in advance with the client in question, to offset any emissions produced over the course of the contract.

Covid-19 recovery

Time Sourcing proactively contributed to wider societal and economic recovery in the post-Covid-19 landscape. Specifically, we championed sustainable practices. By optimising cloud infrastructure, reducing energy consumption, and promoting circular economy principles, we have aligned our services with our environmental goals. Our clients benefited from cost savings and enhanced corporate social responsibility.
Furthermore, in recognition of the changing job landscape, we invested in upskilling and reskilling programmes. Our cloud training initiatives empower individual employees to acquire relevant skills, fostering employment opportunities and economic growth.
Time Sourcing also recognised the importance of bridging the digital divide. Our team actively promote digital literacy and inclusion, ensuring that marginalised communities and small businesses have access to cloud-based tools and services.

Tackling economic inequality

We encourage our staff to be involved in their communities and participate in charity work that addresses the needs of those experiencing financial or social inequality, and their local areas. Indeed, as a business, we encourage staff to take a minimum of two days off per year to support charities. Moreover, we match staff fundraising up to 250 pounds for any sponsorship that they manage to raise for a cause close to their heart.
Recognising budget constraints, we offer cost-effective cloud solutions, ensuring that cloud technologies are accessible for smaller businesses that are the foundation of our economy and wider society.
We are London Living Wage employers and ensure that we pay 90% of our invoices within 5 working days, including to the 10 SMEs in our supply chain at the point of G-Cloud submission.
In our own way, we are striving to create a level playing field, promote economic resilience, and foster a sense of belonging for all.

Equal opportunity

Time Sourcing are committed to fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace.
We actively promote diversity in our recruitment process. By eliminating bias, we ensure that candidates from various backgrounds have an equal chance to join our team. As such, one third of our board is black and female, four out of seven of our staff are female, and four out of seven are also members of ethnic minorities. As a company, we are proud to direct our focus toward each individual employees’ skillset rather than their inherent characteristics.
Our policies promote inclusivity. We have clear guidelines on anti-discrimination, harassment prevention, and accommodation for disabilities. Staff members are encouraged to report any concerns without fear of reprisal. We also allow our staff of faith to schedule their work around any religious festivals.
By championing equal opportunities, we create a vibrant and collaborative workplace where every staff member can thrive and contribute to our collective success.

Wellbeing

Time Sourcing always prioritise the wellbeing of our staff, and take various actions to help ensure their health, happiness, and productivity.
We recognise that a healthy work-life balance is crucial. As such, our staff can choose flexible work hours and compressed workweeks. This empowers them to manage personal and professional commitments effectively. We also provide access to counselling services, stress management workshops, and mental health resources. Regular staff check-ins with managers help to identify any signs of burnout or emotional distress.
Furthermore, our virtual coffee breaks, team lunches, and collaborative projects strengthen social bonds. We encourage open communication and camaraderie.
Additionally, we accommodate any staff who have illnesses requiring attention within their families, ensuring that they experience no drop in salary if the illness in question requires them to take time off work.
By prioritising staff wellbeing, we create a resilient and motivated workforce that contributes to our success and that of our clients.
