The Microsoft 365 Data Migration service requires administrative access and API credentials to the source environments (legacy network drives, cloud, or on-premises systems) and the destination Microsoft 365 environment (SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Exchange) to execute the required data audit, structure mapping, and content transfer.
The principal constraints are those imposed by the technology itself, specifically SharePoint Online. Adherence to best practices and performance standards may limit the complexity of certain elements that are resource hungry during the re-engineering of the information architecture. We work closely with buyers to engineer a robust environment that balances requirements against these technological limitations
