You can export models directly to text file formats, or export models' transaction data to SAP BPC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Integrated Business Planning, or OData services. For text files and SAP S/4HANA, you can set up a schedule so that exports recur automatically on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
You may want to disable the ability to export data from a particular model. In this case, use the model preference Restrict Export to CSV. When this setting is switched on, users won't be able to export data from that model to a file, either in stories or from the Files list.
There's also a posibility to export model data using the Data Export Service API - End-of-contract process
- Codestone has contracted exit processes ensuring all data is securely managed back to customers wishing to exit their agreements. No access will remain to Codestone staff after contract completion. SAP does allow data to be extracted by means of standard tools available to customers.Codestone has implemented exit processes to ensure that all data is securely managed and returned to customers who wish to terminate their agreements. Once the contract is completed, Codestone staff will no longer have access to any of the data. However, customers can extract the data using standard tools available in SAP.

- Cloud solutions from SAP encrypt data at full rest in storage. Storage devices include self-encrypting drives, which encrypt data “on the fly” while stored on disk to FIPS 197 (AES) standard at 256-bit key strength. Data backups are stored encrypted at AES 256-bit strength. An encryption key is stored on the service processor or an external key management server. Data is unencrypted based on the scope of access needed. SAP solutions are configured to use secure communications in accordance with the protection requirement of the transmitted information involved in electronic messaging.

Availability and resilience
- Guaranteed availability
- 99.7% System Availability percentage during each month for production systems.
- Approach to resilience
- SAP has documented its operation's policy and guidelines and made them available to all users who need them. These guidelines offer guidance on how to maintain equipment for continued availability and integrity. The Architecture is also documented and includes the technical application architecture, the network topology and the geographical locations of the data centers of the cloud solution. Checks are performed to ensure that all mandatory data is filled out and added to the asset management tools for physical servers and virtual machines. This ensures that the systems and services are configured, installed and operated using Least-Privilege Administrative Models. You can find more information about this at http://www.sapdatacenter.com/.
- Outage reporting
- SAP data centers are equipped with multiple connections to various power companies to ensure that even if there is a local power grid failure, the data centers will continue to provide uninterrupted service. The centers have an uninterruptible power supply for short-term outages and a diesel generator backup for longer-term outages. This means that power interruptions or outages are highly unlikely to affect customer data or solution access. In case of any unplanned downtime, customers will be notified by email.
Identity and authentication
- User authentication needed
- Yes
- User authentication
- 2-factor authentication
- Access restrictions in management interfaces and support channels
- When an end-user accesses SAP Analytics Cloud Public Edition, they pass two checkpoints: authentication and authorisation. Authentication checks the user’s existence in the system and lets them get onto the system or gain access to the system after verifying the password. This check is done through the Identity Authentication Service (IAS). Authorization does a different job. It checks which Fiori applications (apps) the user can see and/or use based on his/her business user roles.
