PeaSoup provide, support and maintain the Infrastructure as a Service. Our boundary for support is the virtual datacentre, the directly connected network within the PeaSoup Infrastructure and the backup service for the virtual datacentre. The component elements within the virtual that we have not provided are not supported, i.e. the virtual servers. These
are built, maintained and supported by our customers.
If a full support service offering is required, we would partner with a support specialist to provide operating system and application support including patching and AV controls.
Where possible, we will advice on best practices and assist in using the platform. - Support available to third parties

Onboarding and offboarding
- Getting started
-
During the onboarding process, we schedule a phone call session to introduce users to their account manager and have one of our technical team run through the portal functionality and answer any questions that arise.
We also provide a document containing login credentials, networking and and vApps that are created on behalf of the tenant. All elements of the portal are documented in the onboarding process. - Service documentation

One example of this could be achieved would be creating a backup, downloading the backup files and restoring them in a new location.
We do not charge for any data extraction. - End-of-contract process
- At the end of the contract, accounts access is revoked and any residual data permanently deleted.

Availability and resilience
- Guaranteed availability
-
99.99% SLA.
Planned maintenance IS included in this figure, if we have to have downtime then this impacts our SLA.
Instances where management portals are upgraded but services are still operational is not considered down time. - Approach to resilience
- PeaSoup solely operate within Tier 3 aligned UK datacentres with an N+1 approach to power, networking, water pumps etc. As PeaSoup operate a primarily liquid immersed environment, we do not have requirements for air conditioning and instead we focus on cooling all components of the server maintaining much lower temperatures compared to a traditional systems. This results in a stable platform, maintaining consistent temperatures meaning we do not experience thermal throttling during peak workloads or heavy application usage.

- Access restrictions in management interfaces and support channels
- We restrict access to management interfaces and support channels using role-based access controls, strong authentication, and network-level protections. Only authorised personnel can access administrative functions, and permissions are granted on a least-privilege basis. All access attempts are logged and monitored for unusual activity. Support channels require identity verification before any account-related actions are performed, ensuring secure handling of sensitive information

Users can report incidents through our support portal, email, or phone, where issues are logged and prioritised based on impact and urgency. Each incident is tracked through to resolution, with regular updates provided to the user. After closure, we issue incident reports that outline the cause, actions taken, and any follow-up recommendations to prevent recurrence

- Description of energy efficient datacentres
-
All PeaSoup datacentres utilise "Hot/cold" isle containment solutions - this generally does not affect PeaSoup services due to the nature of liquid immersion cooling. Running services are situated as close together as possible so cooling requirements are minimised.
https://peasoup.cloud/peasoup-cloud-environmental-impact-live/
ISO50001 is accredited in all PeaSoup datacentres.
PeaSoup's liquid immersion environment saves over 100 tons of carbon a year compared to the average UK datacentre.
