- You connect external tools with the Odoo API using a few lines of code and access all functions i.e. you can access every object and every public method (CRUD = create, read, update and delete). All what you can see with your Odoo web client you can see through the script. So you can reproduce every functionality in the web client through the API. Record rules and access control lists are respected so you can access what you are allowed to access only. Access is through libraries (standard or external), create dedicated user, use secure protocol. There are no limitations.
