AskAiB is designed so that users are not impacted by demand from other tenants. The service achieves this through:
Multi-tenant logical isolation ensuring one customer’s usage does not degrade another’s
Horizontally scalable infrastructure that automatically adds capacity during peak demand
Workload separation between API, authentication, booking logic, integrations and analytics
Autoscaling databases and queues to absorb spikes without impacting interactive use
Performance monitoring and SLOs on response times and error rates
Rate-limiting and back-pressure controls to protect core functions during abnormal load
These controls ensure user experience remains consistent even when demand increases.

Availability and resilience
- Guaranteed availability
-
AskAiB provides a guaranteed monthly uptime target of 99.5%, excluding planned maintenance windows and force majeure events. Availability is measured monthly and monitored continuously.
If uptime falls below the guaranteed level, the customer becomes eligible for service credits, which are calculated as a percentage of the monthly subscription fee for the affected service component. Credits are applied to the next invoice issued under the agreement and represent the customer’s sole and exclusive remedy for failure to meet the uptime SLA.
Service credits are calculated at 1% of the monthly subscription fee per 1 hour of unplanned downtime beyond the guarantee, capped at 25% of the monthly fee. In addition, where resolution response times for operational faults exceed the SLA commitments, service credits may also apply at 1% of the monthly subscription fee per 2 hours beyond the committed resolution time, capped at 10% of the monthly fee.
Service credit eligibility requires that (i) the incident was not caused by customer-side or third-party issues outside the supplier’s control, and (ii) the customer submits a valid claim within 30 days of the incident with supporting detail. No cash refunds are made.
Planned maintenance is scheduled outside normal business hours notified in advance. - Approach to resilience
- This information is available upon request - utilising Microsoft Azure's state of the art backup and redundancy capabilities.
- Outage reporting

Administrative access requires MFA and is available only to authorised personnel; SSO is used where supported. Access to customer data via support channels is controlled and logged, and only permitted when necessary to fulfil a support request. All administrative actions are traceable through audit logs, and access rights are reviewed periodically and on role change. Customer tenants are segregated logically to prevent unauthorised cross-access.

- Security governance approach
- Hosted on Microsoft Azure, which is independently certified against a broad range of internationally recognised security, privacy and governance standards (including ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27017, ISO/IEC 27018, SOC 1/2/3 and CSA STAR). askAiB adopts Azure’s certified controls for datacentre security, physical access control, data protection and operational governance, and aligns its own internal governance to these frameworks.
- Information security policies and processes
-
AskAiB operates an information security programme aligned to recognised frameworks including ISO 27001 and NIST. Governance is overseen by senior management, with defined accountability and reporting across risk, compliance, secure development and incident response. Policies cover risk assessment, access control, secure SDLC, vulnerability management, vendor risk management, incident management, data classification, continuity, and data protection compliance.
Annual risk assessments are conducted across infrastructure, software, personnel and data assets, with controls tracked and reviewed. Employees undergo pre-employment screening and receive mandatory security training on induction and annually thereafter. Access to systems follows least-privilege and role-based principles, with MFA enforced on critical systems and periodic access reviews.
Compliance with policies is assured through continuous monitoring, internal reviews, external audits and the ability for customers to conduct penetration testing by arrangement. askAiB maintains GDPR and global privacy compliance and conducts vendor due diligence on all third-party providers.
Business continuity and disaster recovery plans are maintained, tested and reviewed annually. Policies are reviewed on at least an annual cycle or following material changes in risk, technology or regulation to ensure ongoing effectiveness. - Software Security Code of Practice
- Yes
Operational security
- Configuration and change management standard
- Supplier-defined controls
- Configuration and change management approach
-
AskAiB uses structured change management aligned to a secure SDLC. Service components are tracked through their lifecycle using source control, CI/CD pipelines, environment segregation and asset inventories. Changes follow defined steps including design review, testing, approval and deployment with rollback plans. All production changes require authorised access and MFA, with audit logging for traceability.
Security impact is assessed during design and prior to deployment, including code review, dependency scanning and vulnerability checks. High-risk changes undergo enhanced peer review. Configuration items are periodically reviewed to ensure integrity and policy compliance. - Vulnerability management type
- Supplier-defined controls
- Vulnerability management approach
- AskAiB operates a structured vulnerability management process aligned to secure SDLC practices. Potential threats are assessed through code review, dependency scanning, automated security testing, environment monitoring and third-party risk assessment. Threat intelligence is sourced from vendor advisories, CVE/NVD feeds, security mailing lists and cloud provider notifications. Vulnerabilities are triaged by severity and impact; critical patches are prioritised and deployed rapidly via CI/CD, with routine patches issued through scheduled releases. Platform and infrastructure patches are inherited from Microsoft Azure, which applies OS and platform updates as part of its certified vulnerability management programme.
- Protective monitoring type
- Supplier-defined controls
- Protective monitoring approach
- AskAiB operates supplier-defined protective monitoring controls including logging of administrative and security events, anomaly detection, performance monitoring, access audits and alerting. Logs are retained for forensic purposes and reviewed against defined thresholds. High-risk events trigger investigation via incident management procedures. Underlying platform and infrastructure monitoring is inherited from Microsoft Azure, which provides certified continuous monitoring, threat intelligence and platform-level alerting.
- Incident management type
- Supplier-defined controls
- Incident management approach
- AskAiB operates a defined incident management process with pre-approved playbooks for common events such as outages, performance degradation, data integrity issues and security incidents. Incidents are triaged by severity and impact, with roles and responsibilities assigned through the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plan. Users can report incidents via email, telephone, support portal or live chat. Major incident updates are communicated via email or in-app notifications. After recovery, askAiB produces incident reports detailing root cause, impact, remediation and preventative actions. A post-incident review feeds continuous improvement and annual plan updates.
