How the planning service works
NWorld collaborates with the client organisation to gain a thorough understanding of the objectives, success criteria, architectural frameworks, preferred methodologies, timelines and related projects, dependencies or constraints. Using this understanding, one or more deployment plans are considered and presented to the client organisation together with their pros and cons. The preferred option is refined into a statement of work (SoW.) It is expected the SoW will utilise both NWorld and Client organisation resource or SMEs In the delivery phase, an agile approach will be adopted. Progress against plan is transparent and backed by regular reporting. The client organisation will be able to kept fully abreast of progress.

How the training service works
NWorld are not a public training organisation and cannot deliver standard, public training courses. However, NWorld consultants will conduct bespoke in-house training sessions to empower client organisation teams to become self-sufficient with the Tableau products and best-practices. Bespoke training is likely to happen during the services delivery if it has been requested as part of the statement of work. Alternatively, it could be delivered as an additional engagement after delivery services are completed and when NWorld consultants are familiar enough with the environment, data and requirements. This could be a project handover exercise. Additionally, further on the job mentoring of the client organisation's staff can be provided as part of a call-off agreement for support services on a time & materials basis.

How the setup or migration service works
NWorld Tableau consultants can assist client organisations' planning of Tableau Online setup. This includes tasks such as: collecting new requirements, understanding the coverage and usage of legacy reporting solutions, proving gap analysis and opportunities for Tableau functionality, devising content migration plans, understanding any changes to data sources and models, establishing good governance, exploring data options, and implementing authentication methods like Single Sign-On (SSO). NWorld understands the processes of migrating from legacy platforms such as SSRS, Business Objects and Oracle Discover or newer ones such as Qlik and can advise on the best approach. Some client organisations want to perform a "lift and shift" of existing reports and dashboards to a new environment, others aspire to a total rebuild but most end-up with a hybrid of the two. Often the biggest constraint is the underlying data source and perhaps there is opportunity to enhance a data model and data ingestion for better Tableau results. Another consideration in the cloud is how to use the variety of cloud database services which most of the data platforms provide. Different databases are used for different use cases. NWorld will consider all these factors for Tableau deployment in the cloud.
