How the planning service works
Using our experience we are able to provide fit for purpose, best practice solutions which avoid some of the pitfalls that can happen in the planning phase of clients Cloud-based projects. We use proven estimating and planning techniques which involve detailed reviews to ensure that the correct focus has been applied, based on the individual clients target outcome. Planning activities can cover a variety of topics including project objectives, scope, risk assessment, delivery methodology, tools, data, environment and resources. We can take full ownership of the test plan, on behalf of the client, and report back through our robust tracking and reporting process; or act in a consultative manner to assure or improve plans which already exist, depending upon where in the process we are engaged. Our end aim is to always manage to a plan that all involved parties are bought into, meaning that we communicate widely and frequently and ensure we deliver with a policy of 'no surprises', enabling corrective actions to be taken at the earliest possible opportunity in order to address and mitigate risk.

Our UK based resources are experts in Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery methods, ensuring that Quality Assurance is given high-profile consideration from the outset and is appropriately executed as part of the delivery lifecycle. We are able to build high-performing teams to supplement existing teams at times of high volume or complexity of change. We can quickly scale-up with test experts; or can provide a dedicated test team to manage the Performance test function covering all role profiles. Our focus is to deliver a robust test service, but also to work in partnership with our client, to ensure we achieve a greater understanding of the products and services being implemented. Our services are underpinned by our approach to service excellence. All services are overseen by a 2i Service Delivery Manager who is responsible to ensuring a quality service is delivered. They work in partnership with the client following clear and measurable, pre-agreed, service objectives. We will adopt a robust governance process which enables the client to understand progress against plan.

Telephone/email - dedicated numbers are provided per engagement. Our UK based teams will usually work on client sites and provide on site support as standard. Each client will be allocated a named Service Delivery Manager as their key point of contact. Each client also has direct access to their Account Manager. Basic support is 9 to 5 on working days. Additional support can be provided at the request of the customer, at an additional charge. Escalation during test planning / test window will be via a named escalation matrix, per engagement and will respond within 3 hours. We are very flexible and always willing to discuss enhanced levels of service aligned to the clients requirements.
