Baselining/As Is Assessment: In this stage we key data around workforce through a combination of data collection templates and if agreed, more in depth workshops. We then analyse the data including comparisons with good practice and external benchmarks to identify opportunities.
Through in-depth business analysis we evaluate recruitment and retention challenges as well as the available data in workforce systems. available data and data quality to ascertain the actions to implement Workforce Analytics solution.
Solution Design: SBS will check each ESR report for data completeness and accuracy, detect anomalies and errors and review summary statistics. A data report will be prepared and compared against a check list of minimum requirements.
If remedial data cleansing is appropriate this will be completed by NHS SBS before re-processing through the model.
Providing the data meets the minimum requirements the likely reasons that the model does not pass the confidence benchmarks are:
• Under/over balance in the dataset relating to unusual levels of leavers.
• Demographic outliers.
NHS SBS will ‘re-train’ the model based on the client’s data to achieve the required confidence benchmark.
