Identity as a Service follows a subscription model. With Identity as a Service, you will gain full control over user accounts by leveraging existing Active Directory to build a central repository for user identities or bulk upload users. Identity as a Service offers unmatched integration depth and breadth to secure all your networks and apps. Intellitrust provides each user with a single set of credentials for access to legacy apps, cloud apps and mobile devices. Our team of experts will provide remote assistance in helping you build your portal for your users. User documentation is also available to you.

End-of-contract data extraction
Users retain the right to access their data and can either extract a report from Identity as a Service when their contract/subscription ends, or request that Entrust extract such data.
End-of-contract process
Contract includes full use and administration of the Identity as a Service platform and also includes support. Authenticators including Q&A authentication, password authentication, SMS/email authentication, soft tokens, PUSH notification, grid card and temporary access code are included. Hard tokens, SMS messages and mobile smart credentials, grid card printing will incur an additional cost.

The service is administered via a portal, which allows administrators to assign authenticators and levels of authentication to users and groups of users. A self-service version of this portal is also available to allow users to apply for their own authenticators.

What users can and can't do using the API
- REST-based APIs are available for authentication and administrative functionality. Digital ecosystem can be secured with API key auth, OAuth 2.0/2.1 contextual authorization and access controls and integrated OIDC-based user authentication.
- Authorised users/accounts need to securely login via APIs and invoke authentication/administrative functionality. Users may use a variety of programming languages to access APIs. sample code is available in help documentation.

- User/admin interface can both be customised by the administrator (admin),
- Admin can create their own groups of users and assign applications, rules and authenticators based on those groups Workflows and reports can both be customised.
- Users can also assign their own applications to the authentication platform from a list pre-approved by admin.
- Users can select their own methods of authentication (pocket token, mobile soft token, SMS etc) if more than one authenticator has been made available to them.
