We work with our clients to ensure that the projects are properly planned and then managed.
1. Hold an initial scoping meeting to fully understand the nature of the project or programme to be worked on. Understand the culture and environment as well as the objectives of the project/programme.
2. Ensure that the testing environment and tools are in place as well as the required team to undertake the testing (both internal and external).
3. Establish the level and type of reporting.
4. Meet with the 'customer' to allow us to 'test through the customers eyes'
5. Carry out a 'risk workshop' to understand the big risks (high likelihood of failure and large impact) and ensure that testing priorities these areas.
6. Take advantage of the Cloud environment features to control (and resetting of) test data sets, parallel environments to speed up testing and monitoring features to speed defect root cause analysis and check coverage.
7. Ensure planned test activity coverage goes beyond just the functional business logic: Non-functional items, support processes, etc.

Acutest has developed a wealth of training collateral, test materials and practices that support our client’s software development and transformational change processes. Our consultants have extensive experience of passing on this knowledge to our clients.
We can deliver a set of masterclass workshops that teach the fundamentals of our testing principles and practices approach. These can be delivered on-site or in hybrid fashion.
In addition, we offer a training course to support the implementation of our automation approach, and common developer in test skills. This is comprised of modular training, with supporting materials, interactive exercises, and assessments to embed the learning.
