How the quality assurance and performance testing works
Quality delivery is paramount. Our quality assurance and business analysis teams ensure that Quality is the foundation of our delivery. This includes peer review during implementation as well as robust testing throughout the delivery lifecycle, especially including User Acceptance Testing prior to cutover and go-live.

Additionally, Swift Strategies have significant experience of working with Public Sector SROs, SIROs and Information Security professionals. We review any newly proposed Cloud based technology services against the NCSC (National Cyber Security Centre) Cloud Security Principles to ensure they are suitable and play an active role in the Cloud Collaboration Tools forum across Government. Where necessary, engage or advise on engagement with G-Cloud registered Penetration testing expertise and will support/run all areas of this process on your behalf as part of our Service Offering.

We will undertake all forms of testing of all implemented systems and any resulting integrations with our expert Test Analysts. This includes the following test disciplines: vulnerability, load, performance, integration, infrastructure (where relevant), security and user acceptance testing. Fighting climate change

Swift Strategies is committed to sustainable development and this is reflected in our environmentally friendly policies.

We provide our bespoke services on a remote basis by leveraging digital tools and modern communications platforms rather than travel to client sites, unless and until required and agreed between the parties. All employee travel is limited to an as and when required basis, supporting a limited carbon footprint. Additionally, when our teams do travel, we actively promote the use of Public Transport where the costs and associated journey times are appropriate and proportionate to the work being carried out at client sites.

Consumables such as paper and printing supplies are kept to a minimum as our infrastructure and ways of working are remote and digital-first with a paperless approach.

As all our infrastructure is cloud-based, leveraging digital tools, we are not consuming any additional energy for data centres or servers.

We developed and published a Carbon Reduction Plan, including our 2023 baseline and 2024 targets, on our website. We are also undergoing the certification process for ISO 14001 so that we can track, manage and report on our environmental and climate change prevention objectives.

Covid-19 recovery

Swift Strategies played a critical role in the Department for Education's Get Help With Technology Programme. This Programme was set up to provide productivity platforms to schools, and laptops, tablets, and connectivity services to disadvantaged and vulnerable children in England. The intent was to enable equal access to remote education to help reduce the education attainment gap and enable virtual social care services during the pandemic when they couldn't be provided face-to-face, and when schools closed, or class bubbles were sent home with confirmed Covid cases. The key challenges were delivering at unprecedented pace and scale, and managing a complex supplier and commercial landscape, in a way which had never been done before, and in a time of significant global supply, travel and logistical constraint. Swift Strategies worked in partnership with the DfE from April 2020 to deliver over 1.95m laptops and tablets to these children.

On the back of this successful delivery, we enabled the Covid-19 recovery campaign delivered by the Daily Mail to provide refurbished and new laptops to communities, businesses and schools who otherwise would have not had access to equipment.

Our commitment to Covid-19 recovery continues with our own Covid-safe ways of working by enabling our teams to work remotely, and enabling flexible working hours for those in our teams who have to shield and/or look after family members at higher risk.
