Fighting climate change
Investigo created an Environmental and Sustainability committee in 2023, co-led by two Directors in the business with a passion for positively impacting our journey to net zero. The committee has three pillars, led by people of all levels throughout the business - Data, Strategy, and Hearts and Minds. Through these groups, we understand the impact of our activities and formulate effective strategies to mitigate climate change and to achieve our net zero goals.
In 2022, Investigo entered into a partnership with Trees for Cities, we set ourselves the target of planting 1000 trees per year. We plant a tree for every 3 successful placements made with our Clients.Covid-19 recovery
During the Covid-19 pandemic, Investigo adapted to support not only our internal employees by providing laptops and flexible working arrangements, but our customers too. For example; providing solutions to kickstart a transformation programme by creating digital delivery teams with experienced contractors in this field. With our large network of digital professionals we helped to build these teams with very talented contractors.
At Investigo we regularly elicit feedback from our customers via both ad-hoc and regular surveys. An example of this is a Customer Experience survey we sent out was to all clients we worked with in 2020. The aim of this survey was to understand how Covid-19 affected our client organisation’s talent/people strategy and the challenges they have faced, as well as providing Investigo with valuable insight on the service received.
The survey results provided interesting insights and trends into each of our market specialisms, along with expert insight into areas of talent, D&I, Brexit, workforce planning post Covid-19 and technology in 2021 as well as ways businesses can meet these challenges. We have compiled all of these trends into a Talent Trends Insight.Tackling economic inequality
Our chosen charity partner for 2024 is 'It's Your Life' which supports adults and children in our local community of Tower Hamlets, to get back into work and education. They work with children, young people and families to create a better society, where everyone, regardless of background, is encouraged to strive for educational excellence and supported to achieve this. Together we will not just be fighting poverty but also creating a more equitable, compassionate and educated community and we look forward to sharing the impactful outcomes of our partnerships.
Our public sector team are undertaking pro bona work with local organisations to include:
- Coaching - interview and source candidates
- Lunch and Learn sessions - how they can hire, any questions they have, areas they are lacking in
- Helping to advertise effectively and where to advertise
- Free searches and shortlists if they have hard to hire requirements
- Looking into equal opportunities and how they can potentially hire diverse candidates

As a member of the ENEI and an advocate for diversity and inclusion in the workplace, our goal is to ensure that our business practices and those of our clients foster inclusive working environments and eradicate discrimination against all protected characteristics (Equality Act 2015).
We secured Disability Confident Committed status and aim towards becoming a Disability Confident Employer. The IN Group has an active and established Wellbeing & Engagement Committee consisting of 5 pillars – Emotional, Physical, Financial, Job & Career and Social. Each panel has a leader who is passionate about the panel they represent, with panel members supporting and driving initiatives across the business.
The committee is co-lead by our Head of Culture and one of our Operational Directors. The committee’s mission is to create an optimum environment that empowers our people to feel positive, engaged and fulfilled. This is done by delivering key initiatives, benefits, events and engagement pieces, delivered with the guiding principles in mind, being Engaging, Insightful, Memorable and Inclusive.
These range from delivering our TIG TALK series – expert speakers to deliver sessions on wide ranging themes from resilience, imposter syndrome, high performance to menopause advice and support and Men’s health, to pod casts, insight sessions, content that informs and signposts, initiatives that invite discussion and peer support and social events.
We have qualified mental health and physical health first aiders throughout the business and have invested in a financial wellbeing platform called Bippit and an emotional wellbeing platform called Plumm, both of which offer confidential coaching with easy entry, no triage. In addition, Plumm offers psychotherapy sessions without triage on an unlimited basis.
The In Group provides a multi-faith and wellbeing room, with provisions for pregnancy, anxiety, relaxation and prayer; alongside Peloton Bikes and weekly instructed Reformer Pilates in the office.
In 2024 The In Group won two industry awards (Investing in Talent): Best Workplace for Women’s Health and Best Workplace Environment.
Where possible and appropriate with permission, we extend our offerings, especially our TIG TALKs, to our networks, clients and candidates, supporting and sharing the knowledge of wellbeing, to positively impact our clients and wider networks outside of our industry.
