NIAXO has extensive experience of designing and planning for data analytics and infrastructure as code/Cloud adoption and provide the associated technical, data migration and user preparation as well as reviewing previous architectures and integration. Planning is guided by a Client Consultative approach with a focus on outcomes and has been deployed with major Covid19 related programme with the Cabinet Office/DHSC as well as other Government Departments and Agencies. NIAXO business analysts capture requirements and develop user stories, features and epics whilst maintaining focus on your Business Objectives and can develop core processes (L0-L5). NIAXO planning can include all architecture domains (Business, Application, Solution, Information, Data, Integration, Service, Technical, Infrastructure and Security) deploying Government experienced SAFe and Agile as as well as more traditional approaches where required. NIAXO develop roadmaps, migration and transition states to ensure the change for the business and its customers causes as little disruption as possible, ensuring change and communications are effectively is planned. NIAXO provide Suitably Qualified and Experienced People (SQEP) and experienced scrum masters to manage transition, evolution and migration at Programme, Project/Scrum and Work Package levels, building in compliance with ITIL and GDPR.

How the training service works
NIAXO provides CIPD accredited training including Data Stewards Workshop, Privacy Awareness Guidance Training, Cyber Security for Critical Organisations and Introduction to Data Exploration and Analytics
NIAXO training and mentoring can be provided by experienced users and practitioners of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure. The training can be formal instructor lead, via workshops, 1-2-1, webex, webinar or OJT and onsite mentoring. Niaxo can provide ITIL service management and compliance training too. In addition. NIAXO's technical, security, cloud and infrastructure consultants often support, mentor, upskill and provide knowledge transfer to current staff, to prepare them for managing the hosting of platforms, systems, software and services with a Cloud provider.

How the setup or migration service works
NIAXO support clients across the Public and Private sectors including Central Government, agencies and NDPBs. NIAXO architect, design, develop, deliver and support migration including all major public cloud providers especially AWS and Azure, but also GCP and private clouds. The migration service is scalable and can be rolled back, subject to circumstance and migration stage and can be offered as a bespoke or Managed Service, which allow us to evolve the capabilities and plan the critical people change and communication aspects. If clients require NIAXO will support development of local capability, training, mentoring, upskilling and transferring knowledge to client staff.

NIAXO has extensive, tested, experience in migration from “standard” instantiations on public clouds such as AWS to more customised and constrained instantiations of that platform within central government. Migrations often include a complex technology mix to provide the analytics, search, automation and access requirements delivering a capability.

NIAXO are Cyber Essentials Plus certified, and pursuing ISO 9001, ISO 27001 ISO14001 accreditation which all contribute to quality and governance. Applying our ISO9001 guided processes, NIAXOwork in highly regulated domains (Cabinet Office, Home Office, DHSC, MOD and NCA) and bring our own IP. NIAXO actively monitor quality of output which includes multi-partite internal review of documents and artefacts for accuracy but also plain English and grammar. NIAXO provides Testers, Test Leads and Test Strategy resources include automation, integration, performance and SIT testers/testing and can provide Test Driven Development. NIAXO Test Approach is designed to support Agile projects and includes governance and configuration management. NIAXO have a fully ticketed Support Desk available as part (costed option) of any service and or software NIAXO develop or platforms we provide. Most projects without the Service Desk include a period of hypercare for any platform, software or integration NIAXO have developed. NIAXO can provide various levels of support from 3rd/4th line working day passive support to 24/7 fully resourced response, with SLAs as costed options and for agreed periods.

NIAXO supports products, platforms, software and Infrastructure as Code we develop, subject to any SLA we agree with clients. Niaxo seeks to not hold, store, process or access client and client customer PII data, unless appointed as a Data Processor or Sub Processor specifically for projects. Where Niaxo are not appointed as a processor or sub processor NIAXO would not be responsible for customer or user data held within the customers systems hosted in the Cloud. NIAXO can use client provided PUIDs where those PUIDs provided are powerful enough to allow for design and development.

Wellbeing

NIAXO is successful and growing because of its leaderships, people and processes that support individuals and respect their needs. We have daily all hands calls, which may be led by a Director but not controlled by them, we actively encourage participation and we listen, encourage and support.

We have regular 30 min lunch and learns open to all staff where a person leads on a topic of their interest, which has included focus on certain technologies to living with diabetes. These sessions are intended to be light, non-contentious and non-challenging.

On longer projects we would seek to apply similar leadership, processes and activities with the client, by agreement.

NIAXO has also found, through experience, that there are both work related and well being related benefits to remote working through wide audience calls and catchups. These time bounded calls allow all attending staff as observers to gain a wider understanding of the project, delivery, progress, blockers and plans to staff informed, to contribute where appropriate and to identify those in the wider NIAXO or client and suppliers team they need to engage with. This provides all staff with a feeling of engagement and contribution, so good business as well as personal value.
