This service focusses on assuring existing business data is migrated correctly into the new cloud system. It focusses on ensuring there is no data loss, data corruption, that the meaning of the data in the new system is equivalent to the meaning in the old system and that systems consuming the data do not see unintended changes in the data. It also covers assuring that transformation and cleansing is done correctly. Data transformation and cleansing are often integral to, sometimes an unavoidable part of, migrating to a new cloud system. However transformation and cleansing can easily go wrong delaying the go-live or causing a roll--back.
