While there are many contributing factors to climate change, the emissions produced by power-hungry legacy systems is a significant one. These systems are often inefficient and using outdated technology that consumes a great deal of energy.
At Proceed, we are helping our customers reduce their carbon footprint through our services. We offer decommissioning services for legacy systems, moving customers towards more modern solutions, as well as data management services to help customers reduce their data footprints. By reducing the number of power-hungry legacy systems in operation and the amount of data that needs to be stored; we can help to make a meaningful contribution to the fight against climate change.
The way we work has also changed dramatically in recent years, and this shift has had a major impact on our fight against climate change. In the past, consultants would often have to travel across the world to meet with clients. This meant lots of travel, which was a big source of carbon emissions for our company. But now, with advances in technology, we can do the majority of our work remotely. Video conferencing and other online tools have made it possible for us to consult with clients without having to leave our homes. As a result, we are emitting far less carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, and we are playing our part in combating climate change.
