- How the planning service works
- Prior to any new engagement, Stoneseed onboard all clients via a structured PMaaS engagement model which enables us to quickly understand the current programme & project processes, the portfolio, and resource requirements. As part of this, we strive to develop a strong understanding of a clients’: business strategy & objectives, organisation, culture, processes, information & reporting methods, technologies, and toolsets. This ultimately enables us to assign resource(s) who not only have the required experience and skillset, but are also the right cultural fit for the organisation. Pre-Sales Project Scoping Workshops are carried out in addition to onboarding, Stoneseed’s Professional Services team will work directly with the client to establish the scope of the project/programme and thus, construct a commercially efficient plan that’s tailored to the clients’ individual needs and requirements.

Fighting climate change
We have recently commenced a carbon reduction programme, which includes a number of activities that all work towards reducing our carbon footprint within our own business and that of our clients, suppliers and wider communities. The aims and objectives of the programme are captured within our Environmental Policy, including our commitments long term, employer and employee responsibilities, how we will measure our progress, and what other initiatives we will contribute to in order to protect the environment within our wider community.Covid-19 recovery
Where possible, we create opportunities that can be fulfilled by candidates who may require further on the job training, or adjustments to the usual way of working. An example of this was our participation in the Government Kickstart initiative, that allowed us to take two new employees from the local area, who previously had been out of work for some time. We continue to look for opportunities to aid unemployment, or provide opportunities in the wider community.Tackling economic inequality
Where possible, Stoneseed will work alongside local companies, or smaller companies particularly in relation to services and suppliers. Additionally, Stoneseed are committed to ensuring that our workforce have the necessary skills, knowledge, and qualifications to maintain our high professional standards and meet our overall strategic goals. As a business we believe that continuous development and progression is important to helping employees meet their own personal aspirational goals during their employment journey and is an opportunity that is open to all employees across the business. All relevant training is funded by the business or via apprenticeship schemes.Equal opportunity
As a business Stoneseed are committed to encouraging and supporting equality, diversity, and inclusion throughout our workforce. We believe that talent and potential is distributed broadly across the population, and by encouraging and recognising diversity we will maintain and grow an organisation that is truly representative of all sections of society, and whereby we are able to create a culture based on people that can add the most value and talent to our business. We commit to eliminating, avoiding, and removing any less favourable treatment on the grounds of a ‘protected characteristic’, including gender, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, race, marital or civil partnership status, age, religion or belief, disability, pregnancy and maternity or dependents. We recognise that promoting equal opportunities is an ongoing commitment and our internal policies and procedures are subject to regular monitoring and review, alongside suitable training.Wellbeing
Stoneseed are strong advocates of supporting employee health and wellbeing, including both physical and mental health. Via our policies and procedures, and with strong management support we have ensured that we have suitably qualified individuals who are well equipped to deal with situations if they arise, alongside promoting positive activities and creating strong communication pathways. As a business we regularly get involved with both local community and wider national initiatives such as charity events, and health and fitness programmes, alongside internal events and activities.
