Arup provides planning to support the set up and delivery of all our services.
This includes aligning vision, scope and deliverables at the very beginning, working with customers to collaboratively embed a delivery methodology, framework and touchpoints, and agreeing and setting up ways of working.

- How the training service works
-
Arup provides training across all of our services, including upskilling in-house teams and organisations in agile, user-centred, digital and SME skills.
Training and knowledge transfer (KT) is embedded in the work we do and how we work with our clients, as such it forms a core component of our approach and methodology. We will dedicate time at the start of the engagement to discuss your business needs and collaboratively plan our approach so that it meets broader business outcomes.
We work to review any learning processes and build on the methodology and learning assumptions to develop a tailored Knowledge Transfer Plan.
Our holistic approach to learning and knowledge transfer is based on the 70/20/10 learning model which we have extensively applied and provides a robust approach to capability uplift. The model asserts that although critical, only 10% of learning typically occurs through formal training. The remaining 20% we learn from others, and 70% by doing (action learning).
This proven methodology will allow us to support you in developing the depth of knowledge required to confidently own and fully leverage new capabilities. We offer a blended learning approach, combining an early foundation of skills though training with broader knowledge transfer methods. - Training is tied to specific services

Our quality of work is essential for our clients and the work we do. To assure quality, we follow our Quality Management System, review the project progress thoroughly and regularly and hold collaborative stakeholder workshops.
As part of our project plan, we will schedule regular project reviews. These will include technical reviews on the work being done, monthly commercial reviews and updates of our forecasts, and project management reviews where the overall delivery of the project including the programme will be scrutinised. Undertaking these reviews throughout the project ensures we approach it satisfactorily and can spot any potential issues before they become significant. This allows us to manage the issues in a proactive manner. All reviews will be documented and saved on the Project Plan.
This management system provides the framework we will apply to this project to ensure delivery to time and budget, and to the required quality. The principal procedures are highlighted below. Further details can be provided on request.
Performance testing of Cloud services is undertaken in-house. Testing and QA plans are developed in line with requirements defined in planning and migration phases and in conjunction with the client delivery teams and users.
