Our Integrated Test & Acceptance (ITEA) service delivers planning to collate the evidence required allowing Buyers to make objective contractual and capability compliance decisions for their procurements.

How the quality assurance and performance testing works
The purpose of the Test & Acceptance service is to quality assure and performance test Buyer solutions to ensure fitness for purpose. Our service team will work with the Buyer and stakeholders to deliver a test capability to gather assurance evidence required for progression of the developed solution into service. The ITEA service team will determine the full scope of the Acceptance, where and when evidence should be captured and ensure clear definitions of each test criteria within an overall roadmap to system acceptance. They will define early in the project what test evidence is required to be collated to enable decision making and ensure test evidence is generated effectively, inside the philosophy of 'test once, use test data many times' to make efficient use of test data already existing. Developing the test strategy, all affected business areas will be considered to ensure the solution is fully fit for 'business purpose'; consideration will be made for Communications, Equipment (IT and other), Infrastructure, Organisation, Process, Resourcing, Support and Training. Principal outcomes will include the ITEA Plan and Schedule, the definition of user trials and acceptance criteria. Where ITEA planning indicates user requirements have not been properly identified, this will be addressed.
