Service scope

Service constraints
FinOps Services require a minimum monthly cloud spend ($1,500 for standard, $10,000 for advanced).
Customers must implement recommendations to realise savings; consultancy for implementation is separate. Features and included resources are defined in the Work Order. The service does not access customer data contents—only metadata and usage statistics are collected. No responsibility is taken for savings or security improvements if recommendations are not followed. Public network information is excluded if privacy options are enabled, and passwords are never transmitted in the same channel as usernames.

Support levels
FinOps Services provide support through a tiered service model, with features and engagement levels defined by the selected plan and Work Order. All customers receive access to FinOps specialists who deliver analysis, reporting, and recommendations as part of the standard and advanced service tiers.

For more hands-on support, the FinOps Engage consultancy service is available, which is quoted separately and tailored to the customer’s needs. This consultancy typically includes a dedicated project manager, solution architect, cloud engineer, and customer success FinOps manager to ensure goals are met throughout the engagement. The costs for standard and advanced support are included in the service fees, while consultancy and implementation support are charged based on estimated time and scope. Technical account management and cloud engineering support are provided as part of the FinOps Engage consultancy, not the base service.

Regular service reviews, reporting, and stakeholder meetings are included in advanced plans, ensuring ongoing optimisation and support. Customers can escalate issues and receive guidance through these structured support levels, with the option to purchase additional consultancy for more complex or strategic requirements.
