- How the planning service works
- At Servent we provide Azure Pathway workshops to allow us to help understand your organisation better. Through workshops and assessments, we explore your business and technical goals and provide guidance on how to deliver the best strategy and cloud roadmap. We will help you envision and plan your target cloud platform, and align that to your business’s unique requirements and goals. As output we will provide documented recommendations and guidance for the next steps of your cloud journey. We have a three step Azure Pathway process: (1) Assessment - work with your team through a series of learning discussions and evaluations to gauge your present state. We will explore your infrastructure location, security, monitoring and other important considerations as well as review your current line of business applications. (2) Migration Planning - After learning about your current and future state needs, we will develop a customised output document that outlines all migration planning aspects and makes recommendations to move toward the most optimised Azure migration experience. We will review the recommendations in a follow-up briefing call. (3) Post-Assessment Action - Servent is positioned to consult and help implement any remediation items in order to position your business for Azure.

Azure Pathway from Servent provides a flexible framework for transitioning and migrating applications, data and workloads to the cloud whilst at the same time identifying opportunities for transformation and optimisation. With Azure Pathway we adopt a three-phase approach for migrating to the Microsoft Azure cloud: (1) Assessment - identify candidate applications and infrastructure for migration to the cloud. (2) Migrate - we use tools to automate the deployment of apps and infrastructure to the cloud in a secure and managed manner. (3) Operate - we help with ongoing monitoring, cost management and training.
Our proven approach has been developed and enhanced after helping many customers – from small organisations to the largest enterprises – with their migration to Azure. - Setup or migration service is for specific cloud services

Fighting climate changeFighting climate change
Microsoft Azure is committed to fighting climate change through various initiatives. One of the ways Azure fights climate change is by using renewable energy sources to power its data centers. Azure has set a goal to be powered by 100% renewable energy by 2025. Additionally, Azure is working to improve energy efficiency in its data centers, reducing the overall carbon footprint. Azure also offers its customers tools and resources to help them reduce their own carbon footprint, such as the Microsoft Sustainability Calculator, which helps customers understand and reduce their carbon emissions associated with their cloud workloads.
