Fighting climate change

4most is contributing to the fight against climate change in two ways; by setting and driving towards our own ambitious climate goals and by supporting our clients to identify and manage the climate risks they carry, thus helping equip them to contribute to the fight.

4most is aiming to reduce its emissions to net zero by 2025, underpinned by detailed annual calculations of our scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions that are reported to senior leadership. The 4most Environmental Policy supports this ambition, for example by encouraging staff to use transport methods that minimalise pollution, amongst a range of policies that seek to minimise 4mosts impact on the environment.

4most’s support for clients span a range of climate risk disciplines, from financed emissions and disclosures to climate risk modelling and climate risk management. Successful support for 4mosts clients means they are more informed of the impact their businesses have on the climate and the risks and opportunities that arise from transitioning to a low carbon economy, thus positioning them to make their own contributions for the fight against climate change.

Covid-19 recovery

As a market leading specialist in risk management, 4most has and continues to support clients across the financial services industry in navigating and managing the post COVID-19 environment and associated government and regulatory responses.

Our experts have a deep understanding of the analysis of Covid influences by regulators and how they impact your business, placing 4most in an optimal position to support our clients in helping manage the associated challenges. Our solutions, both across the private and public sectors, help clients in adjusting and managing for the impacts on IFRS 9 arising from Covid-19.

Tackling economic inequality

4most work with lenders across the financial services industry to build models, credit strategies and to utilise data more effectively. We have assisted lenders to utilise new data sources, modelling techniques and understand financial risk and returns in more detail, allowing them to widen their pool of potential customers.

4most is also partnered with IE Hub to help borrowers in difficulty assess their financial circumstances helping improve knowledge around financial management driving improvements to their personal situations. Our work has also helped younger and new to the UK customers to gain access to credit that they would have traditionally been excluded from. This supports greater financial inclusion and reduces economic equality in a very real and practical sense.

Equal opportunity

4most endorses wholeheartedly the principles of the Equality Act 2010 and is committed to the positive promotion of equality, diversity and inclusion amongst all members of the 4most community. To achieve this 4most will:
• ensure that no unlawful discrimination occurs in the conduct of 4most’s work
• advance equality of opportunity between people who share ‘protected characteristics’ and all other members of the 4most community
• foster positive relations between people who share the ‘protected characteristics’ and those who do not

We actively recruit through organisations or services that serve individuals from underrepresented populations. We conduct analyses of our job description language and requirements to ensure they are inclusive and equitable.

We also recognise that 4most may need to provide its services in a range of different or more flexible ways, in order to ensure genuine equality of access or opportunity for groups and individuals who approach those services from a position of persistent and longstanding disadvantage.

We aim to celebrate and value the differences between individuals’ cultural, social, and intellectual contributions to 4most and will seek to promote greater mutual understanding between groups and individuals who reflect these differences and will seek to utilise the talents and experiences that each and every individual can bring to the company.

Wellbeing

We aim to identify, minimise the effects of, and wherever possible remove hazards that could harm your wellbeing including taking all reasonable steps (sometimes with the benefit of risk assessments) to make sure that you:
• have a safe place and safe system of work;
• can take appropriate breaks;
• are not put under excessive working pressures;
• are not subjected to discrimination or harassment at work

We aim to have a clear route to wellbeing support for everyone in our organisation. In particular, we have a number of Mental Health First Aiders (MHFAs) who can provide help and support if you need it, as well as promoting positive wellbeing throughout our organisation, private healthcare with specific provisions for mental health is available to every employee plus we host regular awareness sessions on mental health actively promoting the support networks and trained colleagues available.

We treat everyone who works for us fairly and we do not discriminate against people because they might have mental health conditions. We aim to offer an environment in which you can thrive.
