Planet eStream conducts its business with regard to the main principles pertaining to Operational Security which we classify as:
• Identifying sensitive data that we hold or process
• Identifying possible threats to the security of this information.
• Analysing security holes and other vulnerabilities.
• Appraising the level of risk associated with each vulnerability detected.
• Putting appropriate countermeasures in place.

Information security policies are reviewed regularly at board level and relevant information and updates communicated to all staff as appropriate in a timely manner following board and senior management meetings.
The Planet eStream cloud platform is designed to enhance data security by ensuring separation of each customer’s media content and other file storage, metadata and individual site configuration data. Each customer has their own web site instance which allows custom configuration as necessary and each customer has their own individual Microsoft Azure SQL database.

Supplier-defined controls
Configuration and change management approach
All changes are tested in house and major version updates are also tested under beta release conditions on dedicated test SaaS platforms, before official release to the Planet eStream Cloud Platform customers.
Internal development servers are assessed prior to production system changes using appropriate software applications, such as NMap (including intense scanning options) and OWASP ZAP to check website modifications. Service update status is tracked by automated monitoring checks, coded and implemented by the development team as part of the change process.
Vulnerability management type
Supplier-defined controls
