Support Helpdesk Services are available between 8.30am and 5.00pm BST/GMT Monday to Friday, excluding English public holidays and 24th December to the first working day after 1st January.
Each request for support is ticketed on our support ticketing system and is prioritised dependent on the severity of the issue reported. We do however ensure that we respond to all requests for support within 4 working hours.

- A dedicated Planet eStream Project Manager is allocated to the key contact at the organisation. A technical webinar is arranged in the first instance to configure the platform to suit requirements. This session includes set up of authentication/SSO and third party plugins such as VLE integrations. Once, set up, a roll out plan is discussed and implemented including arranging webinar based or onsite training requirements for end users. A whole host of additional training resources are available to assist with roll out and on-boarding requirements. We offer a free dedicated training portal called Planet eStream Academy available via our website. All training resources can be accessed here including; a full monthly webinar programme, on demand video based training courses, PDF walk through guides, a certification programme and one to one masterclasses that can be requested with a product specialist.

- End-of-contract data extraction
- If the contract is terminated, the Customer’s data will be retained on the hosted platform for a period of 60 days from the expiry of the agreement to allow the Customer enough time to export their media from the Supplier’s hosting platform if desired. After this period, the Customer’s data and media will be automatically deleted by the Supplier.

The customer's right to use the Software shall cease and the access to the software will be automatically disabled. Access will be granted by the Supplier for export of the Customer’s media by the Customer for a period of 60 days.
If the Customer requires any assistance in connection with export of media, they shall be entitled to purchase such services at the Supplier’s then current rates.
At any point during the 60 day period, the Customer can change their mind and request that the agreement is re-activated at the renewal price applied by the Supplier and Commencement of the agreement would be back-dated to the expiry date.

System administrators can customise many aspects of the overall look and feel of the user interface presented to their end users. This includes the addition of logos, banner images, colour scheme, language and category icons.
End users are able to personalise their own specific user page and change the interface language.

Planet eStream is hosted on the highly scalable and resilient Microsoft Azure cloud services infrastructure. Resource usage metrics are constantly monitored and rapid scaling of compute, SQL database and storage resources takes place automatically to accommodate variations in service demand.
Each customer has their own web site instance which allows custom configuration as necessary and each customer has their own individual Microsoft Azure SQL database, hosted under Microsoft’s Azure SQL Database service, which is not accessible to, or referenced by, other eStream customer instances.

Planet eStream makes service metrics available to authorised users via the Statistics section in the standard user interface. All changes are tested in house and major version updates are also tested under beta release conditions on dedicated test SaaS platforms, before official release to the Planet eStream Cloud Platform customers.

Extensive custom error and incident logging and reporting is built into the Planet eStream cloud platform. Planet eStream technical team members and development staff are automatically alerted about security threats via email and SMS push notifications. Planet eStream pays all employees at least the Real Living Wage as set out by the Living Wage Foundation, which is £9.90 per hour based on our location in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
Additionally, all Planet eStream employees have a minimum contract of at least 16 hours per week and in absolutely no circumstances are zero hours contracts in place.
