Tackling economic inequality
Redesmere has taken a number of proactive steps in an effort to tackle economic inequality. These steps include: 1. Collaborating with with peer-SMEs to identify and explore innovation and growth opportunities, and options for optimising ways of working; 2. Establishing an office base in North Wales (Anglesey) to extend our catchment area for new talent into a part of the UK where there are fewer opportunities for technology-based jobs; 3. Recruiting new people onto our team and providing them with on-the-job and classroom training; 4. Investing in community projects, such as food banks and food education, by developing and hosting websites which also provide an opportunity for our people to learn new skills.Equal opportunity
Redesmere is a "Living Wage Employer" and is supportive of that organisation's goals and objectives. Our people come from a diverse range of backgrounds and we do not discriminate in any way, shape or form when recruiting or assembling our teams for client projects. We have recently relocated our main offices in Alderley Edge from the 1st floor to the ground floor to make it easier for people to access. Our Anglesey office is also on the ground floor.Wellbeing
Redesmere has a range of schemes which are targeted at improving wellbeing within our teams which are designed, implemented and maintained by our Human Resources Director. Team members are offered the opportunity to develop individualised personality profiles with follow-up coaching being provided. We offer a salary sacrifice scheme through which staff are able to purchase bicycles under the cycle to work scheme. We also provide fresh fruit and drinks in our offices. We actively encourage our team members to adopt a healthy work-life balance.
