Hygraph is architected for resilience through a combination of redundant infrastructure, intelligent caching, and high availability configurations. Hosted on AWS with global data center options, it supports both horizontal and vertical auto-scaling to manage demand spikes. Content is delivered via a globally distributed cache (Fastly), ensuring near-zero latency and uninterrupted access even if origin services are impacted. Enterprise customers benefit from dedicated infrastructure, read replicas for failover protection, and a 99.95% uptime SLA. In the event of a service failure, cached content continues to be served, ensuring minimal disruption.

The platform includes robust backup and disaster recovery measures such as Point-in-Time Recovery and offsite backups, enabling full restoration within minutes. Security is enforced through AES-256 encryption, SSO, WAF, and DDoS mitigation via CDN layers. Continuous monitoring and automated alerting systems support rapid incident response, while CI/CD integration ensures safe and consistent deployments. Operational resilience is further supported through multi-environment management and Hygraph’s public status page for real-time transparency. Together, these measures ensure Hygraph remains a reliable and resilient CMS for enterprise-grade digital experiences.

Hygraph restricts access to management interfaces and support channels using strong identity, authentication, and authorization controls and is compliant with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 requirements. Access is enforced through centralized identity management with SSO and mandatory multi-factor authentication. Role-based access control and the principle of least privilege ensure users only have access required for their job functions. Administrative access is tightly limited, logged, and reviewed regularly.
