- How the planning service works
-
As part of our Planning solution, we can produce detailed Microsoft Project Plans for clients to underpin the delivery of any programme and provide a full breakdown structure of the work involved.
This service can include the creation of sub-plans for each project which map all of the products involved, the resources required, the timescales for delivery, as well as highlighting all the dependencies to show the critical paths for each project.
When managing the programme, the PMO will use these plans for progress reporting purposes through the use of dashboards and detailed management information to ensure that the programme is being delivered in accordance with the agreed budget and timescales.
In addition to this, the plans will be used for:

Tackling economic inequality
At Health HR, we firmly believe in the transformative power of education and the pivotal role it plays in fostering economic prosperity and social development. As part of our commitment to creating positive social impact, we have developed a comprehensive program offering work placements for graduates and students, most recently having an NHS management training scheme graduate complete a 12-week placement with ourselves. Through this initiative, we aim to not only provide valuable hands-on experience but also to contribute significantly to job opportunities and educational attainment within our communities.
Work placements for graduates and students serve as a vital bridge between academia and the professional world. By offering these opportunities, we open doors for aspiring young professionals to gain real-world insights, develop practical skills, and explore career paths. Moreover, these placements often serve as a stepping stone for participants to secure full-time employment upon graduation either with Health HR or other organisations. By nurturing talent and fostering career growth, we actively contribute to the expansion of job opportunities within our communities.
As part of this programme, we focus on enhancing educational attainment. Through hands-on experience and mentorship, participants not only reinforce their theoretical knowledge but also acquire practical skills that are invaluable in today's dynamic job market. Additionally, exposure to real-world challenges and projects cultivates critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a deeper understanding of industry dynamics. By enriching educational experiences and empowering learners to reach their full potential, we contribute to overall educational attainment and foster a culture of lifelong learning.Equal opportunity
Health HR UK Ltd are an equal opportunities employer, with employees at the absolute heart of our Organisation. We celebrate differences and encourage employees to bring their true selves to work. As a leadership team we hold ourselves accountable for implementing, seeing through and continuously striving to improve diversity and inclusion efforts. Inclusion is one of our core values, and that enforces collective responsibility throughout our organisation.
We also ensure fair recruitment measures are implemented across the business, such as anonymising CVs to prevent bias, using gender-neutral language in job advertisements to avoid alienation and consistently monitoring workforce characteristics, ensuring any under-represented groups are identified and targeted going forward. Over the last 4 years we have rehauled our recruitment processes to ensure we have fair recruitment processes that both are accessible for all candidates but encourage candidates from minority back grounds to apply for jobs.
Within the business, Health HR Ltd has strong anti-discrimination policies, and they are accessible to everyone – with anti-discrimination training, and unconscious bias training embedded as a critical module for part of our staff induction. We absolutely demonstrate fair employment practices, and all employees have equal access to opportunities, pay and career growth and our mentoring and development schemes.
We have also changed our working practices enabling all our employees to work from home. This enables us to create an environment that accommodates any employees with additional needs or disabilities.Wellbeing
Health HR UK Ltd are an equal opportunities employer, with Employees at the absolute heart of our Organisation. Employee wellbeing is a critical part of our people strategy.
Health HR implements the six standards of the Mental Health at Work Commitment, to imbed our commitment to our employee wellbeing including ensuring we have registered Mental health first aiders across the business for employees to engage with and we encourage clients to do the same where possible.
To support our workforce, we implement things such as:
- Offer flexible work arrangements, such as remote work options and flexible hours to help employees better balance work and personal life responsibilities. Speaking with employees this flexibility has helped to reduce stress and improve overall wellbeing.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive workplace culture, including creating open channels of communication, encouraging feedback, and promoting a sense of belonging and community among our employees.
- Ensure regular one-on-one check-ins between managers and employees take place to provide opportunities to discuss workload, stressors, and any concerns related to health and wellbeing. We feel encouraging open dialogue and providing constructive feedback can help employees feel supported and valued.
- Recognise and reward employees for their hard work and contributions through things such as awards, or tangible rewards such as gift cards or extra time off.
