How the planning service works
NWorld will work with the client organisation to gain a thorough understanding of the objectives, success criteria, frameworks and constraints for the engagement. This will be conducted by means of one or more workshops to define a Statement of Work (SoW.) It is expected the SoW will utilise both NWorld and Client organisation resource or SMEs. The SoW will follow one of the cloud migration and set-up patterns below. Ie, Azure data cloud migration professional services, Azure data cloud optimisation professional services, Azure data cloud innovation professional services. The use cases will be evaluated to see if they are sponsored, achievable and feasible within budget and timelines. The appropriate Azure cloud services will be mapped to the requirements, the appropriate information security policies consulted and cloud consumption and storage costs estimated. For the delivery phase, an agile approach will be adopted. The requirements will be documented within a product backlog for both (essential) foundational deliverables and elective deliverables. Sprint planning will define the speed, order and functionality of products delivered. On-going ownership, support and maintenance effort and cost will also be assessed to ensure the endurability of the Azure cloud data environment.

How the training service works
NWorld are not a public training organisation and cannot deliver standard, public training courses. However, NWorld consultants will conduct bespoke in-house training sessions to empower client organisation teams to become self-sufficient with the Azure cloud data platform products and best-practices. Bespoke training is likely to happen during the services delivery if it has been requested as part of the statement of work. Alternatively, it could be delivered as an additional engagement after delivery services are completed and when NWorld consultants are familiar enough with the environment, data and requirements. This could be a project handover exercise. Additionally, further on the job mentoring of the client organisation's staff can be provided as part of a call-off agreement for support services on a time & materials basis.

Set-up and migration services can be used to implement in the following scenarios: • Azure cloud data migration professional services which could include initial planning, configurations, architecture and then the migration to Azure data cloud. The migration could have an objective of moving a data warehouse and ETL to the cloud offering “like for like” functionality and coverage or could include further structured data sources and limited better efficiency of data pipelines. The outcomes will generally meet the status quo but in the cloud. • Providing Azure data cloud optimisation professional services to provide additional cloud services to achieve more efficient data management and analytics. The outcomes will be improving the current situation for cost, efficiency, compliance or risk management. • Providing Azure cloud data innovation professional services includes achieving transformative business outcomes by leveraging data innovation. Introducing AI, ML, data science or real time data streaming to support transformed and new data capabilities.
