Description of customisation
Clients can tailor Sky Discovery’s service extensively to meet the specific needs of each matter. Working with a dedicated lead consultant, clients design customised workflows covering data collection, processing priorities, Early Case Assessment, and review strategies such as linear, keyword‑based, or technology‑assisted review. They can specify deduplication rules, batching methods, coding layouts, redaction workflows, and dashboard/reporting preferences to align with case objectives.
Clients may also enable optional proprietary tools—including Sky Chat, Sky Retrieve, Photo Search, Smart Extract, Machine Translation, and Machine Transcription, allowing them to enhance efficiency based on their unique data challenges.

Custom solutions can be designed using sample data. Metadata mapping, external integrations, and bespoke project management and communication plans ensure the service fits seamlessly into each client’s workflow.

(a) Monthly Fees include used user licences leading up to and including the time of the outage;
(b) Buyer must report a fault within 24 hours of the service outage;
(c) The Supplier service assurance does not cover service difficulties caused by;
(i) scheduled downtimes for maintenance and updates;
(ii) acts or omissions by the Buyer or end-user;
(iii) behaviour of Buyer or end-user equipment, facilities or applications;
(iv) faults in Buyer or end-user equipment or software;
(v) damages due to external causes, e.g. vandalism, theft, terrorism, etc.;
(vi) downtimes due to technical or other problems not caused by the Supplier (caused by third parties etc.);

Complies with a recognised standard, for example CSA CCM v4.0 or SSAE-18 / ISAE 3402
Configuration and change management approach
Sky Discovery operates formal configuration and change management processes aligned with ISO/IEC 27001 and cloud security best practices. Service components are tracked throughout their lifecycle using controlled configuration records and versioned repositories, ensuring assets are documented from deployment through retirement. All changes are assessed through a defined change process that evaluates operational and security impact, including risk, data protection, and access implications. Changes are reviewed and approved prior to implementation, tested where appropriate, and recorded for auditability. Post-change reviews are conducted to confirm successful implementation and to identify any security or stability issues.

Potential threats to services are assessed through continuous monitoring, vulnerability scanning, and risk assessment, including endpoint and workload protection aided by CrowdStrike. Security patches are prioritised based on severity and risk, with critical patches deployed as soon as practicable through controlled change processes. Information on vulnerabilities and emerging threats is obtained from CrowdStrike intelligence, cloud service provider security advisories, vendor bulletins, and recognised vulnerability databases
Protective monitoring type
Complies with a recognised standard, for example CSA CCM v4.0 or SSAE-18 / ISAE 3402
Protective monitoring approach
Sky Discovery operates protective monitoring aligned with ISO/IEC 27001 and cloud security best practices. Potential compromises are identified through continuous monitoring of systems, logs, and security alerts, including endpoint and workload monitoring using CrowdStrike and cloud-native monitoring tools. When a potential compromise is detected, incidents are investigated promptly in accordance with the incident response process, with actions taken to contain, remediate, and assess impact. Security incidents are escalated to appropriate stakeholders and senior management as required, with response times prioritised based on severity and risk.
