How the planning service works
SPG can bring our wealth of experience to bear in any cloud hosting or cloud software implementation, and will run a series of workshops to ensure that plans are constructed accurately and that the implementation will be performed successfully. First, we will hold a kick-off meeting to ensure that objectives, scope, business and operational requirements are being captured and used to form the basis of any success criteria. We will then move into discovering and planning the connectivity, data, security and business requirement specifics that will inform the overarching plan. Success criteria will then be finalised and RAID captured in a tried and trusted format for ease of tracking. Our Architecture team will create a holistic and deliverable solution which, combined with the inputs above will result in an implementation plan that is heavily weighted towards success.

SPG best of breed tooling provides buyers with tried and trusted migration solutions that negate risk and increase migration velocity. We perform auto discovery of existing infrastructure and use historic usage analysis to understand buyer needs. We deliver a simple and scalable multi-cloud management solution that includes self-service resource provisioning, application automation and orchestration. By providing a view of workloads (virtual machines, containers, multi-tier apps) and data across 18 public and private clouds including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Compute Platform (GCP), OpenStack, Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware vSphere, the migration process can be road-tested and simulated prior to any real-world production systems being moved. This unique approach completely de-risks migration and offers a full roll-back capability that can be invoked in the unlikely event of operational issues.
