- Our approach to incidents is defined in our Incident Response Policy and Incident Response Procedure. They detail how incident response phases are structured, provide guidelines on how to assess the critical and severity level of an incident and set the communication and escalation channels to be used. Incidents are graded by priority level (with specific SLAs set for each) and reports are created for P1 and P2 level incidents detailing summary, impact, root cause analysis, resolution, key timelines and any on-going action items.

- Configuration and change management approach
- Our system configuration and change management processes are defined in our Secure Development Framework and Change Management Policy. These, along with industry best practice resources from the NCSC, OWASP and CISP, outline the principles which we adhere to when making changes to service components. Changes are tracked using issue-tracking software (JIRA) and GIT repositories (Bitbucket). This enables scheduling of work as well as a permanent record of system/codebase changes. Information security risks are raised at monthly SWG meetings and vulnerabilities are detected by annual IT Health Checks, penetration tests and regular vulnerability scans.

- Vulnerability management approach
- As per our Vulnerability Assessment Policy, information security risks are raised at monthly SWG meetings and vulnerabilities are detected by annual IT Health Checks, Penetration tests and regular vulnerability scans. We are also a member of the Cyber Security Information Sharing Partnership (CISP) which makes available resources on industry best practice and in-depth analysis of cyber threat information. Our approach to security patch management for all systems and application components is defined in our Patch Management Policy and Patch Management Procedure.
- Protective monitoring type
- Supplier-defined controls
- Protective monitoring approach
- Our approach to protective monitoring is detailed in our Log Monitoring and Auditing Policy. Potential compromises are identified by monitoring server load through a permanent live dashboard and by analysing web logs through tools such as AWS Cloudtrail, Cloudwatch and Syslog. Our response approach and speed is decided on a case-by-case basis according to the severity of the compromise. An audit log of business audit events and activities of all user categories is retained for a period of 12 months. An audit log of technical events (e.g. syslog events, CloudWatch & CloudTrail) is also retained.

Fighting climate change
Fighting climate change
Our Founder and CEO is passionate about sustainability and in 2022, formed our Green Committee to help reduce the carbon footprint of the company and its employees towards net zero. We have started working with a 3rd party supplier to measure our current output, assess what can be done to reduce our footprint and initiate any changes.Covid-19 recovery
Adzuna's products help millions of job seekers every month to find better, more fulfilling work and continue to do so during this important phase of recovery.
We have forged a strong partnership with the ONS in recent years, supplying them with our highly representative job postings data that currently powers their real-time vacancy indices.
These were were created in direct response to tracking the pandemic recovery due to the increased timeliness of the data, ensuring that central and local government stakeholders could make better informed, faster decisions.
During the pandemic, Adzuna assisted the DWP and former Secretary of State, Therese Coffey, in launching the Kickstart scheme across the country via series of virtual roundtables. We also worked directly with the Kickstart scheme to set up a feed of Kickstart vacancies so they could be listed on the Find a job service. This scheme has been a huge success, with over 157K starts, and has helped young people across the UK secure valuable work experience during otherwise very challenging times.Tackling economic inequality
We’ve spent a decade developing smarter, more transparent job search and matching technology so jobseekers in the UK (and worldwide - we’re in 20 countries) can find better, more fulfilling jobs. Tackling economic inequality is therefore at the heart of what we do.
As an example, we’ve recently been awarded a contract with the DWP to supply raw job postings data. This is being used to support up to 1500 career coaches in job centres across the country with timely insight into the occupations that are available for job seekers in their local area.Equal opportunity
We believe in looking after the world we live in and giving everyone a fair shot. We treat jobseekers as people not as products. We do the same for our team, seeing the diverse range of strengths they bring to our business. Regardless of background, race, gender, sexuality or ability, we welcome everyone to Adzuna and are working hard to improve the diversity of talent we're recruiting, nurturing and retaining. We’re a Disability Confident Committed employer and are proud to have a thriving community of employees from across the world. Our people are the most important asset we have. We have an active Diversity & Inclusion team, who's primary focus is to attract more diverse candidates and make sure all feel included once they join. Supported by the CEO, their remit includes: reviewing all recruitment materials to eliminate biased language; annual unconscious bias training; fulfilling Disability Confident scheme commitments; posting Adzuna vacancies to a diverse range of platforms; a bi-annual D&I employee survey; annual charity fundraising initiatives. All our Government services are Accessible to WGAC Level AA and undergo annual Accessibility audits by an independent auditor. A survey of 987 jobseekers conducted in August 2021, found 17% more disabled jobseekers use the Find a job platform compared to private sector websites. We have built and maintain the DWP's Disability Confident application, used to administer the scheme with over 20,000 registered employers. We have also implemented functionality for registered Employers to display the Disability Confident logo on vacancies they have listed on the Find a job service, highlighting to jobseekers their positive approach to inclusivity and enabling them to make the most of the talents disabled people bring. Jobseekers can also filter search results by Employers registered with the scheme, making it easier to quickly find opportunities with inclusive employers.Wellbeing
We take the wellbeing of our employees seriously and have taken every step possible to protect the health and wellbeing of our people during COVID-19. Amongst other things, we offer healthcare through Babylon Health, access to free counselling and a programme of wellbeing activities and events. We have a flexible working policy, run regular wellbeing workshops, offer enhanced maternity and paternity leave because we welcome people with families. We have also partnered with a 3rd party provider of life coaching services that is available for all Adzuna employees to seek one-to-one help in topics ranging from managing "burnout", bereavement, to processing the extreme changes in working environments and economic impacts of the economy and post-pandemic recovery.
