The impact of Covid-19 has significantly affected organisations and communities in the way they operate. At Practicus, it is in our core values to support people and the communities in which we and our customers work. Therefore, throughout the delivery of contracts, we will work to provide opportunities to support the improvement of working practices to help rebuild in the aftermath of the impact of Covid-19. We will:
• Provide access to online personal development training and information to develop in-work skills in communication, assertiveness, confidence, conflict management, active listening and time management to support the physical and mental health of people affected by Covid-19 in the workplace, thus helping to reduce pressures on health and care services.
• Working collaboratively with Customers to identify skills shortages within the team and offer access and information to further training and support for those seeking re-training or returning to work after the impact of Covid-19.
• Continuing to provide coaching & mentoring opportunities by the Practicus team to Customers’ colleagues seeking career progression.
• Offer advice on how to support a Customer’s workforce through the delivery of a contract to implement effective social distancing, remote working and sustainable travel solutions where practicable for the delivery of the services.Tackling economic inequality

Within Practicus, this programme has resulted in reducing our average sickness levels by 39% during 2020.
• Provide information about our online access to articles and guidance from the Mental Health Foundation offering resilience training, meditation short courses, and physical wellbeing such as sleep and exercise. This will be available not just to the Practicus workforce, but to the wider staff, suppliers, customers, and the community.
