Fighting climate change
Dr Julian is committed to reducing the environmental impact of our operations, for example, in the areas of energy use and travel. We have a responsibility to help protect the environment, wherever we have an opportunity to do so, and to also provide a comfortable working environment for our employees.
We publish a formal Environmental Policy which is available to staff and clients upon request, and, as a fully distributed organisation, we’ve already lowered our environmental impact.
We are committed to the continual improvement in the environmental impact of our business activities through identifying the aspects of our business that have an environmental impact and assessing the significance of each aspect to enable us to reduce their impact, where possible.
We monitor workflows and streamline business processes, using less energy where possible. Travel is carefully considered before being undertaken and, as an alternative, we promote the use of technology for collaborating and meeting with both colleagues, clients and potential clients.
Performance is measured by evidence of increased business efficiency through the implementation of streamlined business processes and the reduction in face to face meetings and travel/the increase in the use of collaborative technologies.Covid-19 recovery
Dr Julian have demonstrated an ongoing commitment to support all patients affected by Covid 19 into therapeutic recovery.
Specifically, effective outcomes have been demonstrated in the following areas (as a direct effect of Covid 19):

As a small/scaling business, Dr Julian embraces the opportunity to grow through engagement with new clients, expanding the scope and level of services provided to existing clients and the
opportunities that this brings regarding increasing employment numbers and developing the skills, competencies and capabilities of existing staff.
As a fully remote business, employee location is not a barrier to recruitment and, therefore, growth.
In in such a high growth sector, the delivery of therapeutic services to a greater number of patients provides an array of opportunities. Such opportunities include the creation of new employment opportunities and resulting growth regarding employment (FTE) in a variety of roles. For example but not limited to, IT development/support, administration, delivery of therapeutic services and direct client and patient support services - employment growth directly facilitates the skills, competencies and capabilities development of new employees.
Additionally, business growth provides the opportunity to identify skills, competencies, capabilities gaps and training requirements across all levels of competency and role to allow further development of the skills, competencies and capabilities of existing staff, allowing in-work progression and career development within the company.
Growth also allows us to explore the possibility of expanding and diversifying the availability of service offerings to our clients to meet market demands.
‘New job’ activity will be monitored through FTE numbers and skills, competencies and capabilities development opportunities and progression will be monitored through personal reviews, the development and management of individual PDPs and scheduled regular 1 to 1 Line Manager meetings; with feedback and support provided at all stages.
Where applicable, support for educational attainment relevant to a job role will be undertaken.
Where a supplier/sub-contractor is required to support the delivery of a contract, a formal supplier assessment and onboarding process ensures that suppliers meet the required competencies/accreditations relative to the role.Equal opportunity
Dr Julian demonstrates commitment to Equal opportunities through a formal, published Equal Opportunities statement that is embedded in all our policies and procedures.
We are committed to equal opportunities by ensuring fair and equal processes are applied throughout the business. All staff including our Board of Directors take ownership and responsibility in the delivery of equal opportunities.

Candidates are offered reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process and all interviews are conducted remotely enabling more inclusivity. All Job Descriptions/Adverts are created with factual relevant requirements ensuring candidates do not deselect themselves unnecessarily.
